If you are a tenant looking to rent do not use this agency. Its a shame to leave a bad review as the sales team seem highly recommended. However we had the worst experience renting from them. Sian was the letting agent we dealt with, the property was filthy when we moved in, black mould throughout, carpets that were soaked down to the underlay with dog urine, our oven and hob was broken and fire alarms weren't working. Blackmould was growing in the bedroom due to an old un insulated wooden window, Sian mentioned in multiple emails it was our fault as the tenant, something that from october will not pass under Awaabs law. On leaving the property they tried to take over £500 off our deposit which now after nearly 3 months the tenancy deposit has reviewed and overturned. This agency does not care about tenants.

They gave us a dirty house that the previous tenants had not cleaned, then tried to charge us for the mess. Trying to contact the estate agents in regards to fixing broken appliances proved extremely tricky, with phone calls and emails often going unanswered. Sian in particular was extremely rude, giving us snide and condescending instructions to essentially "deal with it". At the end of our tenancy we were informed that the landlord was trying to keep over £1000 of our deposit, which we then had to go through a financial ombudsman in order to get our money back, even though we'd left it in pristine condition compared to when we'd arrived, with the ombudsman ruling in our favour. Thank goodness we'd taken pictures of everything when we moved in and when we left. Horlers then gave us the incorrect amount back and we had to chase them further. I'm sure they have nice employees there, but the person we were stuck with really wasn't pleasant. If you do use them I strongly advise you take pictures of EVERYTHING before and after because they will accuse you for anything they can. Couldn't recommend less. Good riddance.

We have found renting through Horler's such a refreshing departure from our experiences with other estate agents. The viewing process was organised by Loren as was the offer and contracts prior to moving in, and all with superb, frequent updates and communication. Since we have been in our property we have had minor repairs needed (typical day to day stuff), and this has all been dealt with quickly and painlessly by Sian as well as India. Great to be able to pick up the phone and speak to friendly, accommodating people rather than an automated portal or faceless system like with our previous estate agent. The business is also well known locally and involved within the wider community which is also refreshing to see. Highly recommend.

The team at Horler have been fantastic with the sale of my flat, they understood that I wanted to sell quickly, sorted marketing and (excellent) photography rapidly and then topped it off by finding me the perfect buyer in under a week. Initially I had only given the rating 1 because I didn't want to dwell on a comment that would have been worse than the rating, but since I'm being called a liar then I'm writing about the treatment I received. This agency in Windsor has the sales section on the ground floor and the rental section on the first floor. The day I went to them, I left my details to the person at the desk who took some notes on a sheet of paper. They had several properties on the market so I subsequently tried to contact them to get appointments. Unfortunately on the phone they pretended not to hear and did not respond to emails. Needless to say we found the property with another agency as they proved inadequate and unprofessional. I will continue to edit this review with more details if needed. This agency is to be avoided (for rentals), because it only wastes your time and patience.
