When I visited the flat to look around, I was wearing a mask which meant I didn’t realise how dusty it was until I’d moved in. The surfaces were sticky, soft furnishings smelt musty and were covered in dust. The fridge had mould growing in it (not obvious until it was turned on and the smell gave it away) and the inside of the shower unit had mould all over it. Black mould came out of the shower head when turned to one of the other settings. The washing machine also had mould growing in it and I can’t get the mouldy smell out of it. When I complained about it, I was told that it has been ‘domestically cleaned’ and I just needed to leave it in the same state when I moved out (not sure how I’m expected to grow the mould back?!)Numerous things were broken: 2 of the taps on the bathroom had water pouring out of them (they weren’t when I visited the property). The balcony door didn’t open, the shower leaked and one of the cisterns was leaking into the toilet. The hob smoked when I turned it on and the switch for one of the extractor fans was missing.I moved in on a Saturday and tried to contact the Prospect maintenance department immediately to report the issues but no-one picked up. Again on the Monday, I couldn’t get through to anyone until I went into the offices and was given contact details of someone who, yep you guessed it, didn’t pick up. It wasn’t until the Wednesday that someone finally contacted me. When I complained, I was told that I would get a call from someone to discuss who rescheduled it over the course of 3 days and eventually stopped bothering.I’d never rent from Prospect again and am automatically discounting the idea of buying a flat that is marketed by them. AVOID.

We used prospect estate agency in Maidenhead to buy a property that we really loved. It was a pain for us to get hold of the seller, however the agents at their Maidenhead branch were very helpful and thorough in getting hold of the seller throughout the buying process until exchange of contracts. I would want to thank specially Ryan, Jordan and Betsy for all their help, support and professionalism in helping us complete the process and going above and beyond. We would definitely recommend them to our friends and family. Thank you again to all of you!

The agents do not have a good record with their customers, normally, as the feeling is they charge a lot of money but do not do very much.This has been borne out from their experiences over the years with themThere is thus a built-in resistance towards them, the agents, from the start.But I am pleased to tell you that the normal service levels are not ones doled out by Sasha AllenShe has been both courteous and useful in her replies to queriesSo, well done and thank you for the extra service levels experienced

I need to renew the tenancy agreement as the completion of my new home was delayed. The period is only a couple of months. When I asked for help from Prospect, Sasha helped contact the landlord immediately and gave me constructive suggestion on adding a break clause so as to make it more flexible. When I raised up questions or requests, her reply is always prompt and reliable. She is very professional. Thank you.

GoogleA pretty average experience of trying to rent through Prospect. Didn't seem on the ball, their finance vetting third party couldn't cope with a retiree with savings/investments. OK I guess if you're a wage earner who fits their spreadsheet model. The lettings side of Prospect tried their best to overcome the hurdles .

I lived in a Prospects managed property for more than 2 years. The property management team are very friendly and approachable and picked up all my requests on priority. All the maintenance requests registered online and picked up on time ensured they all are fixed. I didn't feel anything different during the pandemic and they were always reachable on phone and email. I wanted to call out Carla Munro and Melissa Fisher who have been of great help throughout this tenancy.

Very impressed with Jordan Wells. I popped in to print of a mortgage deed as I had no printer at home and he happily obliged! Very kind, helpful and for one printout they will always get my future business and will certainly share this great positive experience with family/friends/business associates. Moving back to UK in difficult circumstances following a bereavement, Prospect were so caring, understanding & helpful in helping me find a property, and putting my case to the landlord as my circumstances were far from the norm.The communication at all times was great and they were very responsive when I asked to move in a week earlier then originally expected.The move in process on the day was extremely smooth.This was my first time renting on my own and I wouldn’t hesitate to rent through them again when this tenancy is finished.

Led by Paul Wickens the team sold a property that had been on the market for 2 years. I did try another estate agent for this property, one how had successfully sold others on my behalf but on this one they could just not get the sale. I decided to turn to Prospects and found them to be excellent. The communication was excellent throughout the process as was their advice. An excellent service by an excellent team.
