After spending months getting nowhere with 2 other estate agents, we decided to take a chance with Carson & Co. it turned out to be a fantastic decision, from day 1 David and Kelsey had viewings lined up. It felt like nothing was too much work and they didnt stop until they had an offer. this wasnt the end of their service, they carried on working very hard to make sure they got the sale over the line, with thanks to April and Kelsey for keeping the pressure on the right people, in what is frankly a painful conveyancing market! Delays returning deposit

We vacated a property rented though Gascoigne Pees in Guildford - 6th Sept. It's now almost a 1 x month and we still yet to receive our deposit credited back to us. There was a small deduction that had to be agreed with the landlord as a few minor areas were missed during the professional clean. Standard practice is that your deposit is returned within 10 x days of leaving the property. Whilst we still await the return of the balance of our deposit £1,700 balance, in our experience dealing with Gascoigne Pees Guildford you should expect the following: Communication with the Guildford branch is very poor. They simply don't return calls or even respond unless you chase. You should expect to have to chase over and over again, by emails or calls. We waited up to four days without getting any response to messages or emails. Through-out any communication we've had regardless of how unfair the situation is they always favour the landlord. In summary, if you are choosing to rent through them be prepared for your deposit to take up to a month (or longer) for it to be returned back to you. Hopefully ours will come soon.

Though I did not end up closing on a sale due to faults elsewhere in the pipe line my agent, Dylan, was absolutely stellar. His confidence and proactive approach to staying in top of all the moving parts in the mortgage process is what had me hang in to a sale a would have otherwise written off much earlier. If everyone in the pipeline had been up to Dylan's standard, mortgages would be getting closed left and right inside of a week!!

Warning - avoid this company at all costs!!

Tom is extremely unprofessional and dishonest. We accepted an offer back in May from a buyer on the basis that the buyer was a cash purchaser. We were then told in July that this was not the case and he was applying for a mortgage. Only when we were ready to exchange and complete in August the buyers solicitors informed us that the buyer had a related transfer of equity, unbelievable. We were told it could take up to 6 months to sort out. We were very disappointed about being kept in the dark about this so late in the transaction. Had we been privy to this we would not have accepted the offer in the first place.

I had a sleepless night for many days , then one of my friend gave me a number of Kuldeel Sondhi and he told me about Countrywide mortgage . I have contacted to Kuldeep and I explain him everything about my previous declined then he started to do my application , he had been gone every side of the case and study very very carefully ,then he have applied for my mortgage . I find it almost laughable how this…

I find it almost laughable how this letting agency behaves. When you’re signing a contract, they bend over backwards to act friendly and helpful, but the second you’re moving out, the entire façade collapses. Their true colors show, and suddenly you’re dealing with rudeness, attitude, and a complete lack of basic professionalism. My experience with this agency at the end of my tenancy was extremely negative, and one staff member in particular, Freya, made the situation even worse. In my opinion, she spoke to me with absolutely no respect and seemed to think that talking to tenants in a dismissive, condescending manner was acceptable. From my interaction with her, it’s clear she has a lot to learn about how to communicate professionally. Some of the comments she made were completely unnecessary, and honestly, she would benefit from learning when it’s better to keep certain remarks to herself rather than speaking to people the way she did. This kind of attitude is unacceptable in any customer-facing role, and I strongly believe she needs proper customer service training. My overall impression is that she is not equipped to speak with tenants in a respectful or professional way, and that absolutely needs to be addressed. No member of staff has the right to speak to me the way she did. Because of this, I will be taking this complaint further through the appropriate channels, and I will be sharing my experience publicly so other tenants are aware of how they may be treated. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable, and I refuse to let it go unaddressed.
