GoogleIf I could give 0 stars it would be that I just got off the phone with a member of staff that was incredibly rude to me and didn’t help me in the slightest stating they don’t read emails about serious problems from tenants about the property…. The person I spoke to was “Dave” how rude! Don’t expect any help from them! I’m very disappointed and upset
Hi James, I am very sorry to read that you feel that Dave was rude. All of our calls are recorded. I have listened to your call with Dave. You called and requested an emergency plumber. You quoted the kitchen floor as ruined from flooding. You mentioned that emails had been sent regarding that. Listening to the call, Dave did not say 'we don't read emails'. Dave urged you to call whenever you have an emergency, in order that action can be taken immediately and further damage and inconvenience avoided. Please do. Our calls are answered in person 24/7 to deal with such emergencies. Dave explained that an email might not be received, or go to junk, or be read immediately. I have checked our system and the original email from one of your housemates was received and actioned. A contractor was instructed, (two days prior to your call). That email was not urgent. It reported a dripping pipe beneath the sink and dripping water being collected in a bowl, so the job was booked on a standard basis by Hannah based on that information. Once again, apologies that Dave came across as rude. He did not mean to. He simply wished to ensure that you understood to call not email in an emergency in order that we can act fast. Google“As a uni student with no prior letting experience, Martin and Co was very supportive with all questions we had and made sure to give us all the information we needed, especially piers who we were constantly able to contact for help and advice” I left this review 11 months ago before I moved into my current house through the company Martin and Co, since then there has been no rest for the constant issues in this house mold, leaks in the roof, problem neighbours to name a few and on top of that extortionate rent prices. martin and Co are no help they do no help students once you are in the house and they have your money, sure they will say we will send someone to fix this or that but nothing ever feels fully resolved, the only time we’ve had things resolved is when we have called every day and emailed everyday. We have no contact with the landlord so we can get no help, we would move out now if there was any other houses right now, looking forward to being with a different estate agency next year. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH MARTIN AND CO.
