GoogleAfter more than six months we have finally had an offer accepted for our move to Winchester from East Anglia. Trying to find suitable properties to make a journey of over 100 miles for a viewing requires a very proactive and enthusiastic estate agent. We dealt with many estate agents in this process but Jonny at Charters was easily the best. GoogleOf all of the Agents dealing with property in and around Winchester we found that Elle McCrindle was the most helpful in trying to find my wife and I a property to suit our requirements. Her help was particularly important because we live in Somerset, and don't have a good understanding of the market in the area. When we had travelled al over the area with no success I went to Charters' office in Winchester and talked our situation over with Elle, were we offering enough? - what were the best areas for us to look at? We have been very happy with the service provided from the initial valuation through to the viewings and eventually the sale. GoogleI had heard good things about Charters and had been considering advertising my house for sale with them but frankly my recent experience was terrible. I had enquired about a shop to let in Romsey which appeared to be a Charters office? I called and spoke to someone called John in the commercial department who seemed completely disinterested. Clearly it was below him having to deal with my enquiry. When I requested a brochure he muttered something under his breath. I never did receive the brochure. I really thought more of Charters and considered them a go to agent in the area. I won't be using them in the future. Very disappointing!
