Right from the beginning - realistic valuation, good marketing, negotiation between buyers, and then navigating the usual stumbling blocks through to exchange and completion - Paul was calm and transparent providing fair advice. He was responsive and empathetic (not something we can say about some of their direct competitors).

Highly disappointing service from H&Co. Selling a property which H&C initially undervalued (by over 20% compared to the average given by other estate agents!) which should have been the sign to go elsewhere... Resolved this, and had the property on the market with H&C for almost 6 weeks and they failed to secure a single viewing in that time. In fact, I managed to arrange one myself through a work colleague before they had arranged any (which they failed to ever do). After a severe lack of communication from the branch, I followed up only to find that the allocated sales rep had left the business ~2 weeks prior and H&C had not informed me, nor allocated the sale to another agent! Cancelled the arrangement with absolutely no fight from H&C to improve the service - just gave the impression of giving up at the first opportunity - perhaps out of embarrassment. Positives: Commission for sales is at the lower end, but from my experience with H&C, you get what you pay for...

When you deal with Hawes you wonder how estate agents ever get a bad name. We used them in 2023 for the sale of our property and we purchased another at the same time for which they were the agent. At all times they were highly professional and helpful. They communicated regularly and were always responsive. The advice they gave about the marketing, pricing and negotiation of the sale of our property was invaluable. Highly recommended.

We used Hawes and Co to sell our property as well as to buy our new home. During the last two years we were dealing with many local agents and Hawes were by far the most honest, reliable and proactive agents we ever had to deal with. They were professional, friendly, , hard working, accommodating, understood our needs and did not bother us necessarily unlike many other agents. We really do not have anything negative to say about them. We were dealing manly with Paul, and sometimes with John, from Wimbledon broadway office and they were both amazing to deal with, although everyone else in the office was equally helpful. In particular we would like to say a huge thank you to Paul, our main agent, that has helped us since the beginning of our journey and he was the most wonderful person to deal with. He was extremely dedicated and very hard working. His work ethos and honesty was truly exceptional. If we need estate agents in the future we will defiantly use them again! Excellent agents, really did everything they could to help get us through the purchase of a house quickly. As a buyer you don't expect the agent to be ready to help and so eager to do what they could to help with a purchase. Paul was fantastic, the whole team was but Paul was our primary point of contact. He was friendly, honest and quick to respond even on his days off or after hours. He even helped us with surveyor recommendations and to find a few household things we needed after we purchased (like a surveyor rec for a loft extension). Also as I know Paul did a good job negotiating for the seller. We came up quite a bit from our initial offer which was fair but he was very honest about it and while I knew he was negotiating us up, he was completely fair and reasonable about giving reasons and being nice and communicative during the negotiations. Friendly & professional service. They went above and beyond. Anyone who has had a bad experience with an agent hasn't worked with Paul or the rest of the Hawes & Co team. For sure we will call them to sell our house when it's time.

Our house was recently sold by the Wimbledon Broadway office of Hawes & Co. From start to finish the service we received was exemplary. We mainly dealt with John Gordon and Paul Mannell. John advised us on price and marketing and they both worked hard to quickly find a buyer. Despite numerous conveyancing problems both with our sale and with other sales in the chain, Paul was constantly on top of resolving them all. Marina and all the other staff dealt with everything efficiently and nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this office.

Big thanks to Marcus and his team at Hawes & Co! Marcus wasn't the agent for my house sale but he was part of the chain we were in and we are very lucky to have been able to get his assistance. He stepped in to sort out issues we were having that our online based agent couldn't. Marcus was very knowledgeable and was able to absorb the stress we felt under from our appointed agent. I do think that without Marcus' intervention I would not have had a successful sale. I could not recommend him highly enough and he will be the first person I contact when I look to move. Paul was great from the start. He impressed us when he came to value the house, giving good, thoughtful advice on priorities in terms of prepping the house for sale. He also pitched the valuation as a sensible point to maximize our profit, without being unrealistic. During the sale process he kept us informed and advised us well. He also worked hard in chasing down sales leads. We saw 6 estate agents from various companies, and we defiantly made the right call in engaging him.

The estate agent from hell Chased them for days and they never replied, until the property eventually rented.Cancelled their another viewing I had because the couldn’t check with the landlord first if they accepted pets, when they eventually said they didn’t, this awful agency cancelled on me last minute. I have rent out a bed room flat with Hawes&co almost 2 years ago where I lived on my own. I have signed a 2 year contract with a 1 year break clause. During that time I have had issues with the neighbours which have been left unresolved so the situation has become progressively worse week on week. I was also recovering after my surgery. The Hawes & Co branch has been fully aware of my situation from the start of my tenancy and have not done anything to help resolve the issue. I was forced to move out on as the level of disturbance had become unbearable. In the beginning I have been asked to pay an extra money as I was in breach of my contract to cover remaining months beforehand the end of my tenancy. I've gone through a massive fight and I hope nobody has to go through the same as me. It was horrible and extremely stressful
