GoogleHaving rented several properties through Gascoigne with no issues, we ran into a problem on our last property, Gascoigne area management did a wonderful job of trying to resolve the issues in a professional way, however the local office were not interested in resolving the dispute, this was until area Management got involved. I would have given them 5 stars up until this, but sadly won't be using them again unless it's absolutely necessary.

Review re: Sale branch. We've just bought our first house, with GH as the agent. We had to deal with lots of companies and individuals throughout the process - very few were as helpful as the team in the Sale branch. They were really helpful from the first viewing to completion, especially during a period when we were finding it difficult to motivate both sets of solicitors.

GoogleExtremely disappointed in the service from Gascoine Halman in Wilmslow. Moved into a rental property rented through them in the town last week which was well below acceptable standard in terms of cleanliness and being ready for living in. Had to spend 3 days cleaning it to make it liveable and despite bring all these issues their attention, they have completely ignored us shocking customer service. Not even a phone call or an apology.

GoogleI would avoid this estate agent like the plague. Terrible service, borderline aggressive. I made a huge mistake selling my house with Gascoigne Halman.
HI Aaron I am so sorry to hear that Mr Gordon decided to renegotiate at the last minute and put you in such a position. I feel it is totally unacceptable and unethical that a buyer could even consider doing such a thing, especially at the last minute. These actions although uncommon are totally beyond our control as Mr Gordon must have been very aware of his purchase position from the very beginning of the sale and tracked his fund value. Speaking to James I am well aware that through the whole sale he went above and beyond to push the sale forward and even made suggestions to negotiate through the chain when your buyer decided to renegotiate. In the end, I hear that you were able to pass the loss through the chain and weren’t financially inconvenienced, which is a relief. However, I do not feel Mr Gordons actions warrant a reduction in our already discounted fee. I feel my staff have dealt with the sale professionally and shouldn’t be penalised by the buyers actions. Whilst the conveyancing process proved to be tortuous Gascoigne Halman provided great support, with a special shout out for Lucy who proactively worked closely with all parties to help to drive the transaction to completion.Highly recommended.

I have used seven or eight estate agents in the area and I have to commend Peter Gregg and Amanda Titterton at the Chapel-en-le-Frith office as the best in the region. Pete and Amanda dealt with my sale with efficiency, politeness, discretion and friendliness in the face of some considerable difficulties. I cannot recommend them more highly.

I went to view a property in Sale on Saturday and was advised of a lot bigger property(sqm)by the agent from Gascoigne Halman.After telling him how much I had as deposit,on Monday the office rang me and told the property I saw is gone and trying to sell me a more expensive property.What a shame!!!!

Wished to make a cash offer on a property, was told viewings were fully booked and was not even offered to have a video viewing of it. If I were the seller I'd be appalled that potential buyers and potential achievement of a higher price were sent away.
