GoogleWe were very excited to have found a rental property after looking for sometime, however on the day of moving in we were handed over the keys to a very dirty property. We expressed our thoughts to the agent unfortunately for us we were left to sort this out ourselves. To clean the property to a standard we would allow our furniture to come in took us a total of three 7 hour days along with 1.5 hours from two contract cleaners whom expressed the property was in a filthy state and should in their opinion have been deep cleaned before letting. To say we were disappointed is an understatement we expected more from GTH.

We have now had the opportunity of talking to our rental department in Williton about this matter. While we can only apologise if the property did not meet your expectations on move-in day, we can assure you that the house had been cleaned. We understand that you raised your concerns with our letting team which we duly acted on by sending 2 professional cleaners the next day. An appointment was also offered for Andrea, along with Amy Davison, one of our senior lettings managers to come and inspect the property. Regrettably we did not hear from you and therefore assumed that you had settled in. Andrea did everything she could to help you in the lead up to your move in, as she understood that you were under great pressure with the sale of your property. GoogleI needed to sell a house in Williton after my Mum moved to a care home, leaving the place vacant. I live over 200 miles away and needed an agent to manage more than just the sales process. GTH were really helpful throughout, always on the ball, and acted promptly. GTH found reliable local trades people to clean, clear the house, and even service the heating, saving me worries and time. The sales process was good too with a faultless marketing brochure, updates on viewings, and realistic advice during negotiation. After agreement of the sale they kept in contact sharing updates from the solicitors and buyer. GoogleI have moved twice now with Greenslade Taylor Hunt. On both occasions I have been given a true market appraisal with a genuine market value and then they have proceeded to successfully sell at that price. So many Estate Agents now seem to give a deflated property value to sell it through quickly and move on. This is not the case with GTH. They work hard to achieve the full value and pull out all the stops to achieve a successful sale. The Williton branch and it's agents are second to none. A very friendly and personal service whilst remaining totally professional. They are very good at pulling out very relevant and key sales points to promote your property on viewings. Through their extensive contacts, we had 9 viewings in the first 2 weeks and an offer that culminated in a sale at the full asking price. This is the second sale where GTH have worked their magic for us and I couldn't recommend them enough, they certainly earn their commission.

The worst experience ever! We had the agent come to value our property and was told he would do the viewings and would advise better photos to help sell the property which we agreed to. The first viewing was done by a totally unprofessional person.. her first words to the client were, I was wondering where the parking was? Who says that to someone you are supposedly trying to sell the house to. She then said well I’ve not been here before. The office is just 5 minutes from the property surely you would get there 5 minutes earlier and see what you are trying to sell and have the facts that it’s a town house and doesn’t have parking but you can get residential permits. I wish I had left then as things didn’t get better. No one answers the phone, I had to do a viewing myself as they didn’t have enough staff which meant driving two hours there and back as we don’t live there. Then the person who said would do the viewings left the company! Obviously knew he wouldn’t be able to do the viewings as we were told. We have now instructed a professional company and left GTH but now being hounded to pay for photos we were told to get despite the extremely poor service giving us no option but to leave. Definitely would not recommend the Taunton office.

I would give 0 stars if I could, Absolutely abysmal maintenance company, Came home after doing a 12hr night shift to find a drainage company digging a hole to put in a drainage tank. Not a letter, email or phone call to inform us this was happening. yet they expect you to do everything they ask for. If your landlord goes over to them then just move out, it would be the easier option.
