Hockeys heritage is unquestionable. Established in Cambridge in 1885 by William T. Hockey, the firm has been selling homes in the city and surrounding villages for over 130 years. I bought my house through Hockeys in Willingham in 2013 and have now just sold it through them. On both occasions I found the staff at Hockeys to be friendly, knowledgeable, supportive and very professional thoughout the process. Any query was clearly and promptly answered, phone calls were returned sometimes after their official closing time. I am very grateful to them for helping us get through the sales process successfully and with our sanity intact! My house was valued by Harriet. Joseph handled the sale and I spoke to Alex occasionally. I thoroughly recommend them.

Bought and sold our house through Hockeys. I was instantly impressed with their approach from the moment I met Jeremy to discuss the support they would provide in selling and promoting the house. They truly went above and beyond any experience I have had with previous house sales with a clear marketing strategy and quickly had multiple viewings set up on the property.. The house was sold within a week of being on the market. Through the process of selling my home and the purchase (through Hockeys) of my new home, Joseph was continuously active in managing the chain to completion despite some rather frustrating challenges at the last minute with exchange & completion. Without his support, there would have been significant delays. Thanks to the team at Hockeys for all their efforts in this process.

FacebookWe bought our new home using Hockeys and Alex was our agent. We were kept informed throughout the process and kept updated on a regular basis, the process was quick. Even with the Christmas holidays during our purchase we managed to go from offer to completion in under 11 weeks. Hockeys remained professional even when our sellers became very pushy and difficult and it became clear that certain information had not been disclosed to them which had a significant impact on our purchase. Despite all this they got it done and were able to move to our new house.

I recently used Hockeys to buy my first home and couldn’t fault the service they provided. Jeremy arranged a second viewing on the property I bought at very short notice and did all he could to accommodate the limited times I was available. When I put in the offer, they hadn’t heard if it had been accepted but still telephoned so that I was kept in the loop and knew when to expect an answer.After the offer was accepted, Alex went out of his way to ensure that I was kept well-informed and nothing seemed too much trouble. When I struggled to get hold of solicitors or had questions which were left unanswered, he contacted on my behalf and any issues were usually resolved the same day. His positive attitude and reassurance was very much appreciated! I can’t thank Alex and the team at Hockey’s enough for all their efforts throughout my purchase. Without a doubt they went ‘above & beyond’ & I would certainly recommend to others. Thank you Hockeys!

FacebookI'm finally getting around to doing this but this is in no way a reflection of the service we received from hockey's! We bought and sold through hockey's and would definitely recommend them as an agent. Alex was brilliant throughout, keeping us in the loop and making sure that everything went smoothly when the place we purchased proved to be a little tricky and not a situation he or we had experienced before! Despite the situation, Alex did everything possible to ensure the sale went through and we were in our new place within two months! With the help of hockey's we have found our forever home and we will always be grateful. Whilst we hope not to move again, we would certainly not hesitate in using hockey's or recommend them to anyone who is moving. Thank you Alex and team ?

FacebookIf it wasn’t for Jeremy at Hockey’s we wouldn’t be in our ‘forever home’. Listening and paying attention to what we requested to move up the ladder he got it bang on! He went to value a home and had us at the forefront of his mind. All the staff, particularly Jeremy and Alex were very attentive and kept us in the loop with every detail. From selling to moving in it was a very swift two and a half months! I would highly recommend Hockeys and although I would definitely use them again.... I’m hoping I won’t need to as I love my new home. Thank you Hockeys!!

Jeremy gave us excellent advice from start to finish. He helped us understand the market for the area we were moving to, happily sharing all his local knowledge (which is extensive). He sold our house quickly and for the asking price. He did not compromise his morals, nor encourage us to, to gain a higher price and get more commission. He worked hard throughout the sale, being the main agent to move things forward in the chain. He communicated with us regularly and always phoned us back when we wanted a quick catch up on the chain. We can't recommend him, and Hockeys, highly enough.

Excellent Service and the team were very understanding and accommodating of our personal circumstances. Joe, Alex, Harriet and Will made the process as stress free as possible. They were patient with a particularly difficult buyer and Will even stayed late one Saturday to accompany a viewing to ensure I was comfortable. Although my sale was difficult and took longer than expected this was not down to Hockeys and they did everything possible to make it successful

We are delighted with the house and pleased with the responsive and knowledgeable service provided by Jeremy the director (and his team). We would definitely recommend them to friends and family and (though we don't plan to move anytime soon) would certainly consider using them if we were looking to sell our home.

I recently used Hockey's to sell a house. They were realistic about the valuation, are reasonably priced, and each member of the team I had contact with (mainly Joe and Jeremy) was friendly and helpful. They worked hard to find a buyer and to get a good price for me, and were helpful if I had any practical queries about the process or tradesmen etc.

FacebookWhat a journey! We originally wanted a different property to the one we ended up buying. This unfortunately never really took off due to a difficult seller. However, after this disappointment, Ben Osbourne (after guidance from us of what we wanted) offered us a viewing of another property which we were very happy with. We felt Ben had really taken on board what we were looking for and done his best to match it! Highly recommended agents.
