We were very impressed with the service and dedication Alex gave us on our house sale. He kept us up to date on status on regular basis and chased solicitors when they were being a bit slow. One particular instance that we were very impressed with, was when Alex followed the 7 long chain right down to the bottom in order to find out the status of where everyone was in terms of being able to progress with the sale.

Kept in the dark and given false information whilst our buyer was being shown our neighbours property, which was also marketed by Hockeys of Willingham. This was over a 6 day period whilst two offers were being considered by them. Unfortunately they failed to inform us until their second offer was accepted and we had repeatedly contacted Hockeys to ask why a survey had not been done? Reassured and in good faith we spent considerable sums of money on surveys and searches on our purchase......... When asked why we were not informed- apparently it was difficult to tell us ........so they didn't!! It appears you cannot expect upfront honesty and trust with this agent........ very bad experience!

The team are cheerful and polite, the approach is uniformly professional (no unrealistic promises or glib banter here) and there is a careful attention to detail and customer care throughout the process. They know their area and market well, and pitched the asking price at exactly the right level to attract interest. I would recommend them without hesitation.

This was our first experience using an estate agent to sell. We were very happy with the service we received. The team obviously knew the market, they were courteous and professional at all times. At the beginning of the process Hockeys told me that they would keep me informed along the way, and they did. Should I need to use an estate agent again I would have no hesitation in going straight back to Hockeys.

Alex Milne and Mike Orbell of Hockeys were enormously kind and considerate to me, an ageing and very nervous first time buyer. They were always quick to respond, often in detail, to my enquiries, and kept information flowing to me as necessary. Alex did a grand job of representing the house without applying pressure. I am very pleased with the result and think myself fortunate to have been dealing with Hockeys on this occasion.

Just dropped into Hockeys office in Willingham and registered an interest in buying a bungalow. Without any pressure Hockeys had offered us a chance to have a new bungalow built to our requirements and sold our current house within eight days at the price we were asking. The total transaction was handled in a very professional manor and we would recommend any future buyers or sellers to give them a chance.
