My Husband and I bought a house from Quirks and we were extremely happy with the service we received. From the moment we called them they were professional, courteous and friendly. Even when we were on lockdown we were given 5 star service. Jemma was extremely helpful and positive and although she was working from home we could always contact her. She was always going out of her way to help us and always put our minds at ease as we were very worried that we would not be able to move during to the pandemic. I would highly recommend quirks every time. Initially I received a no obligation valuation of my property and Simon was aware I was going to go with the “cheap” online experience and not use them . I received honest advice and no hard sale to move over no harassing messages and calls like other agents. I was unsuccessful on line and of course chose them. I sold and also found my purchase property within a week at quirks i cannot fault all the staff, esp in the office cara, Sean and of course Jemma, who kept me up to date with everything and my persistent queries. Disappointing Experience with Quirks Estate Agency Wickford. I had a very disappointing experience with Quirks Estate Agency Wickford during a recent property viewing. We had an appointment scheduled for 1:30 PM, but when we arrived (we live very close to the property), there was no representative present. Concerned, I contacted the estate sales team to check if there had been any inconvenience or delays. The person who answered the call did not provide their name and was extremely unprofessional and impolite. Despite my confirmation that I was at the correct location using street view (which matched the directions they had provided), the agent continued to insist I was in the wrong place. He argued that his colleague had been waiting for me, yet there was no one there, and he implied I was at fault for being in the wrong location. I offered to provide further proof, such as the council board I was standing near, to confirm my location, but the representative was not interested in cooperating or providing any assistance. Instead, he dismissed my concerns and indicated that his colleague could not wait any longer. Despite living nearby, and being understanding of potential delays, the lack of professionalism and courtesy left me very frustrated. After reporting this incident to their office, I have little expectation that there will be any meaningful follow-up beyond an apology. As a result, I have decided not to engage with Quirks Estate Agency (Wickford) in the future, as this experience has eroded my confidence in their services.
