Shocking agent ( the Whitchurch one ) NEVER answer their branch phone, both times I had to call the other office to leave a message to get them to contact me - both for arranging a viewing and to get follow up calls from my offers. Of which I made 2 offers. A neither of were followed up with calls or even confirmation emails of receipt or offer put forward to seller. Go elsewhere to buy & sell

Apart from Rachel King the mortgage adviser who is great; we would never use these again! We were selling with them yet they prefer to look after the buyers than take care of you the seller! Never once did i envisage our own estate agents TELLING us to break the chain - break the chain, we must move out! Ringing myself and wife (who suffers with anxiety) repeatedly telling us the house that we had bought with another estate agent wasn't ever going to be ready until next year! Yet we completed the day that was expected! Shame on them!!

I attach below an email sent to the Customer Services department of Peter Alan Estate Agents yesterday morning, over 24hrs ago! Given what I have reported, you would imagine that it would illicit some response, unfortunately not. If this property belonged to me I would be far from pleased that any interest shown in its viewing/potential purchase, was being handled in this manner, which is absolutely shocking! I will personally try to trace the seller to advise them of my experience with Peter Alan. Please understand, I am not an unreasonable person by any means, I merely wanted to view a property. Potential Customers who are thinking of using this estate agent to sell property need to be aware of my experience with the branches in both Whitchurch and Pontypridd. Needless to say, I would not consider listing my property with them, neither would I take any further interest in what is advertised by them. To whom it may concern, A few weeks ago, Peter Alan advertised a flat in Pentyrch, Cardiff. I attended to view the location but found it unsuitable. However, I did ask the lady to email me with details of any similar property which came to market. Unfortunately, she didn’t, but recently I found what appeared to be a suitable property. I completed an online enquiry form to request a viewing, in addition, I asked for details regarding the lease. I advised that I was away from my home at that time and requested email communication. Despite this, I received an email message from Declan (Whitchurch Branch) stating that he tried to ring me but could get no reply! His email was immediately acknowledged again requesting the information, further, if the lease length was acceptable I would have liked to view today. I believe this was Thursday of last week but no response was received whatsoever. Due to my interest in this property, I emailed your branch in Pontypridd in an effort to establish if they could provide the information. I have received no response whatsoever, which begs the question as to whether Peter Alan wants to sell properties! Please bring this lack of service to the attention of your Management without delay as this is totally unacceptable. Should they wish to email me with any feedback they are welcome to do so.
