GoogleHope and Braim were the sellers of the property we purchased. Thanks so much to the team, particularly Leanne who assisted in viewings. She was so warm and friendly, helpful and knowledgable. We never felt rushed or under pressure, she allowed us space to think and view on our own too. We are so happy to have completed on our cottage.

GoogleHope & Braim should be the go to estate agent for anyone buying or selling in Whitby. Why? Because Emma and Jon are the most professional yet down to earth people who really listen to what you're saying! Hope & Braim may be a fledgling company but Emma and Jon bring with them a wealth of experience managing other nationwide estate agents and that is probably what stands them head and shoulders above any other agents in Whitby. Emma and Jon sold our house within 24 hours, yet it took us 8 months to complete due to the incompetency's of the other Whitby agents within the chain. Emma kept us updated regularly and worked tirelessly to get us to the finish line. When the chain collapsed for a second time she went above and beyond expectations by finding a new buyer for our buyer within one weekend. Finally everything moved on very quickly and we are now in our new home, due in no small part to the efforts of Emma and Jon. We will only ever use Hope & Braim in the future as we know they will go from strength to strength. GoogleMy Husband and I can't recommend Emma and Jon at Hope and Braim highly enough. We found a buyer through them within two weeks of the house being on the market. Unfortunately that sale also fell through within two weeks and as this was just before Christmas we didn't think we'd get any viewers let alone a sale until after the New Year. However we received a call from Emma between Christmas and New Year to say she'd had a couple of enquiries as both her and Jon were still monitoring calls despite the Christmas break. Some people wanted to view the next day and so they came and ended up buying the house. Exchange has just taken place today therefore we are delighted with how quick the whole process has been. Emma kept us informed all the way along and if we had any queries they were always addressed. Emma and Jon are down to earth Estate Agents who don't bamboozle you with sales talk and we'd have no problem recommending them to others. GoogleMine was one of the first house sales for Hope & Braim's new estate agency. I confess I was a little apprehensive as they were a brand new company but Jon & Emma were professional and responsive throughout. They valued my property at exactly the right pitch for a quick sale. It's well worth noting at this point that another local agency had valued it a couple of weeks earlier at £100,000 less! Once valued correctly by Hope & Braim, I had a buyer in the space of a week and the sale has now completed. Despite being extremely busy, Emma & Jon were always available or called me back when the line was busy. Emma was also brilliant at explaining the various steps of the process along the way. To be perfectly honest, I can't fault them in any way and I've recommended them to many of my friends and clients.They both work so hard and they deserve every success in their new venture. GoogleJon and Emma were absolutely fantastic from start to finish with our sale! There really is no such thing as ‘office hours’ they were always at the end of a phone / email day or night! Jon had our property live within hours of coming out to value. Emma couldn’t have done more to assist us and was always happy to help with any questions or query’s we had. Our sale completed within 8 weeks of us accepting the offer and I really think Emma was a big part of making this happen. They obviously know their client base extremely well as there were several who made offers on it. Nothing was too much trouble, Emma was there for us even out of hours to give advice and reassurance where needed. I have no hesitation in recommending these two if you are thinking of selling or buying a property locally. GoogleFrom the moment we decided to sell our house, Hope and Braim were there with fabulous advice, professional guidance and a really warm response to every question we had. If you’re looking to buy or sell, don’t hesitate, go to best in town, go to Emma and John. They will listen to you, understand your needs and find you exactly what you are after(even if you don’t know what you want). We walked into their office referring to them as our estate agents, when we left the office with the keys to our new home, we left as great friends. They were with us every step of the way. Moving is stressful at the best of times, we are so glad we went to Hope and Braim as they took the stress completely away. We cannot thank them enough. No wonder they are selling houses hand over fist. Five star service from start to finish.

We were impressed with Jon’s evaluation and knowledge and understanding of the local market. Emma kept us informed at every step and the process could not have been smoother. Five days after advertising we accepted an offer, and our sale was completed in 6 weeks. What a great team!

GoogleAs the vendor showed us around the property, and we live locally and know the area, we didn’t initially have much professional contact with the agent, though Emma gave me some very useful advice on re- settling my old horse! During the purchase she was very patient and supportive of the vendor’s personal circumstances, and of our situation when our initial sale fell through. She assured us it would be alright in the end - and 8 months later - it was! Thank you.

GoogleWe have been looking for a property in the area for 2 years and had experiences with most of the local estate agents. Hope and Braim are spot on. They actively send us details of new properties coming on the market and when arranging viewings on properties, nothing has been too much trouble. They are representing their clients really well (knowledgable about the property and then following up) making life easier for purchasers too. They are great and a pleasure to deal with. If I was selling a property I would recommend Hope and Braim.
