GoogleWe haven’t moved house in a long time and Emily, Esme and Anna were all amazing in assisting us with the legalities of selling and purchasing our properties. They were all contactable during office hours and if they could not take our call immediately they would always call back as soon as they could. They were all very professional and answered all our queries and questions fully. I have already recommended them to my family and friends and would 100% use them if I were to move in the future.

They expertly handled the viewings for me when I had an unexpected bereavement and had to be out of the country, kept me up to date with developments and sold my house quickly and for a great price. Would definitely recommend Chris and use his services again.

GoogleFirst class service from an extremely professional company. The entire team made the process of selling our late mum’s house easier from the initial visit to the final sale. The seller page you have access to is great and lets you see the interest and viewing planned, etc. The accompanied viewings were particularly welcomed given we were selling under such sad circumstances. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Brown & Co to anyone.

We sold our house in December 2020 and could not have been happier with the service we received. Selling a property is stressful at the best of times, never mind during a pandemic, but Chris ensured the whole process went as smoothly as possible. Both he and his wife were always just a quick phone call or email away to answer any questions we had.We were impressed with the photos and the virtual tour; very professionally done.We would certainly recommend Chris and his team!Oh, and our house sold within a week of being on the market - result!!Not dissing online Estate Agents (I am sure they have their place), but when it comes to knowing the area and market a locally based Estate Agent is invaluable in my opinion.

GoogleWe looked at a number of estate agencies to manage the sale of our house and we eventually decided to go with Brown & Co Properties Ltd We found that Chris whom we met was very knowledgeable, approachable and easy to communicate and deal with, he explained and covered the whole selling process from start to finish. Once we had made our decision the rest of the process was easy and simple, Brown & Co Properties handled everything and kept us informed of every step. They promoted our property immediately with a professional surveyor then a photographer who took amazing photos. Our property was then put on the market and we had offers within a few days of it going to market and was sold within a week. I cannot rate Brown & Co Ltd highly enough as they did a fantastic job for us and would recommend Brown & Co Ltd to everyone to manage their house sale or purchase

FacebookSold our house all thanks to Chris for his help, great photos of the house for the market, always kept you updated after viewings to let you know how it went. Chris also helped us by keeping us in mind for houses that he had recently brought to the market that suited our needs which resulted in us finding the house we fell in love with. James was very fast with dealing with our mortgage and also kept us update on what was happening. Just wished we had known about James the first time we ever got a mortgage. I would definitely recommend both James and Chris if I should ever need to sell or get an other mortgage in future.

My house sold on ,2nd viewing and I was advised to accept, was later advised by another agent I should have waited a bit longer but the thing that annoyed me most was that any contact after that, the agent kept referring to buyer as " my guy," despite the fact it was me that was paying him. Buyer kept contacting me personally as he said he couldn't get any information from agent. He actually turned up at my house on day if moving as he had no idea what was happening with keys. Browns clearly lost interest as soon as sale was confirmed
Disappointed to hear this Mary, if you had brought this to our attention at the time, I am sure we could have resolved any issues. You received an offer for the full valuation after less than two weeks on the market. This offer then enabled you to buy your chosen property. I first met your buyer at your viewing and in no way ever referred to him as "my guy". I kept an open dialogue with both yourself and the buyer throughout the process and if he felt in the dark, then I can only assume that this came from his legal side. If you wish to discuss further, I am happy to arrange a meeting at our office?As you know we are a small business who pride ourselves on our reputation and we wouldn't want any current or previous customer feeling dissatisfied with our service.
