TrustpilotDo not rent through Foxtons
If you are a renter, please do not use Foxtons. They are a scammy horrible company that only serves the interests of the landlord. They rented us an overpriced disgusting dump by using old out-of-date photos in the rental ad, and locked us into an abusively restrictive contract that made it impossible to leave the horrible dump that ruined my mental health. Do yourself a favour and stay away from these money hungry scammers.

Eloise is quite knowledgeable of the area that she covers and provides crucial inputs that helps in arriving at a decision. Her frequent follow up calls and discussions made me feel a valued client. I’d recommend Foxtons if you’re searching for a rental apartment!

Extremely poor experience with Foxtons. We were left without proper cooking facilities for 25 days, which had a major impact on our daily life and forced us to spend extra money on food. A functioning cooker is a basic part of any home, yet this was not handled with the urgency it deserved.

GoogleWe were very frustrated with last-minute canceled offers from two different agencies and were in a rush to find a decent place. Ammar kindly helped us and found the best match in such a short time; he is amazing. From the beginning, he understood our needs very well and showed us the best flats in the area. We couldn't have found such a great place that we would call home without him. I cannot recommend him enough. He is the best!

I contacted ONE agent for a specific property viewing, and it has turned into a total nightmare. I am being hounded by at least FOUR different colleagues from this branch. The frequency is beyond unprofessional, I just received 2 calls in the span of 5 minutes.

As a landlord (don't hate me!) paying for a managed service, they tried to charge me £90 + vat to fix a meter door with two cable ties. This is typical, and I have to chase them repeatedly for everything. My tenants and I deserve better.

GoogleWe recently purchased an apartment through Foxtons and had the benefit of having the viewing and undertaking the transaction with Miriame and Gurjit. Both were fantastic, always on hand to help and guide us. Their communication was clear and honest throughout so we understood and felt very comfortable with all aspects of the transaction. Miriame was a huge asset when we wanted to complete on our purchase prior to Christmas, she was proactive in liaising with the solicitors and ultimately helped us achieve what we wanted. We are grateful to you both in addition to the team at Foxtons, thank you.

I had an incredibly unfair and unprofessional experience with the Foxtons Deposits Team. We moved out in October 2025, yet it took five months for any clarity regarding our deposit, a delay that felt like a tactical move to strip us of our right to provide counter-evidence.

GoogleTim Haddi is meant to be the property manager for the apartment my wife and I are in, which we moved into on 7 December 2020. He has refused to reply to several emails from me. The apartment heating isn't working so I'm trying to contact him so he can arrange to get it fixed. The only email reply I got was an automatic reply, telling me to call the office. I have phoned the office several times, only to get no reply and leave a message. I suggest not using Foxtons at all. They just want you to sign rental agreement. I suggest landlords don't use Foxtons to manage your property because they don't do anything. They are getting commision for doing nothing. We were also told that the apartment would be professionally cleaned before we moved in. It wasn't and there were walls that were filthy and the bath had black mould around edges. Nezam Tehrani was our letting agent and he should have ensured it was professionally cleaned.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

TrustpilotFoxtons found tenants for my property who filmed porn and offer "happy ending" massage services.
I trusted Foxtons to manage my property professionally. They found the tenants, collected commission (2 months rent per year) and management fees, and were contractually obligated to inspect and monitor my home. They failed on every count.
