GoogleYou are not the priority. Commissions are. The landlords are. But not you. The agent that helped us (Nazham) was really rushed into doing everything, showed us flats different of what we asked and so rushed that was a really dangerous driving involved. When sending options, it was the same. Ignoring important factors like location or size. On the phone the size was 40sqm. Then it was 38sqm. In the floor plan it was 35sqm... Like, what!? When asking if we could bring our furniture "no, you don't need that. It's better to have the landlord's". Yeah right. Maybe I can decide on that? Anyway... We didn't get the flat we wanted, which is fine, because at the end we got a better option with another agency. When he called me to check how the search was, I have barely said "we found a place" and he was like "ok then byyyeee". What I take from it is that what matters is only a big fat commission. Regardless where I was going to live for the next 3 years. Some understanding and empathy would be highly appreciated. The manager though, is a reeeeally nice guy.

GoogleFoxtons tricked me into renting a 2 bedroom apartment when I needed a 1 bedroom and to make it worse did not reveal details of the work pending at the apartment complex which is now so noisy, disturbing my peace of mind to state the least after paying such high rent. In addition, 6 people got trapped in the elevator of this apartment complex for more than an hour as the emergency button wasn't working. It's a new apartment complex. I had to call fire extinguishers as the emergency security person associated with the apartment kept us waiting and waiting without being able to help!! Foxtons take zero responsibility to ensure people are not left in dark when they show such apartments. All they need is a fat commission!

Googlewatch out. they will visit current tenants’ flat without giving notice in advance and lied to you they did. they don’t cooperate internally properly. as current tenants, you will be bothered by 5+ representatives at the same time every week at the nearly end of your tenancy. if you show your unhappiness (because of their sudden show up) in front of their clients, they will turn bad to you too. if you are landlord and hire them to find tenants for you, they will attribute some failures to current tenants, such as the flat is dirty currently; current tenants refuse the visit (but actually they will come even without sufficient notice ahead.)

GoogleI have experienced consistently bad service from the entire letting team at this branch. Over the two years I have been letting through the St John's Wood Office there have been far too many mistakes to count and I dread having to engage with them. Even simple tasks are met with incompetence, delays, and disinterest. What I found most worrying was that they were very helpful up to the point that we signed the letting agreement and they had received their fee; beyond this point the service I received quickly declined.

GoogleI was lucky enough to find Foxtons in St John's Wood. They provide an excellent service. I am mainly dealing with Ronald Birznieks and it's an absolute pleasure having such a professional and knowledgable agent helping me find the perfect property. Honest and very clear from the beginning, Ronald understands what we are looking for in a property and he's never pushy. Although he is working for the sellers, I really feel that he has also our best interest at heart and it's important for him that we are happy with the purchase of our first home. My husband and I have been totally impressed by his professionalism and knowledge of the local area. He really gained our trust, and thanks to such a good experience with Ronald we will definitely continue using Foxtons now and in future.

I had very little hope to find a suitable flat for us and within our budget, however Sophie excelled in understanding my situation and what I was looking for! He provide us an excellent service,it's an absolute pleasure having such a professional and knowledgable agent helping us find the perfect property. Honest and very clear from the beginning, always available and prompt in replies, Alessandro understands what we are looking for in a property and he's never pushy. GoogleVery disrespectful to tenants. I am extremely disappointed and upset. Just trying to rip off us as tenants. Asking us to pay higher rent for renewing our current contract and after we decline putting it on the market for even less than we pay at the moment.. that would have been a robbery! Also, after complaining a whole year about problems in the property you send people without my consent 1 week before we move out.. don't you think it is a little bit ridiculous? Very unhappy, please try and improve :(

GoogleI am currently selling a house and searching for a flat to purchase. I signed up to look at flats with foxtons as i was interested in a few flats they promoted on their website. They took me to flats i wasn't interested in and which were out of my price range, turned up at appointments without specs and no information about the flats or the area. After having such a bad experience with them I never contacted them again. I did however receive many phone calls early in the morning from their pushy secretary telling me to switch estate agents and sell my house through them. They called me four more times over the next few months despite the fact that i had told them not to contact me again and that i would never sell my house through them, they still continued to call, and today i received a foxtons magazine and hand written note from the secretary telling me i should switch agents again! they are pushy, rude and have a complete lack of respect for someones privacy.

GoogleCan’t praise Marina enough. She was patient and professional; she listened and understood my requirements and would make an excellent therapist if they ever considered changing careers! She made what could have been a stressful process all very easy.

GoogleTenant here. Another standard terrible Foxtons experience. Nia (lettings manager) was particularly rude to me when I came to pick up the keys some time ago. Luckily my landlady is a good human so could also help me with Foxtons. Try and avoid.
