Firstly, I have to say that my review is based on the office and does not reflect on Charlie in any way but due to circumstance. The sales progressor (over statement of title bty) left, the Manager Scott, whilst affable when in communication (rarely) was not seemingly on top of this situation unless chased down relentlessly. As a proceedable buyer, I had to walk away from a purchase after 3 months of lack of clarity. Charlie, is an excellent sales negotiator due to his candour and integrity and under the right guidance will make an excellent senior negotiator and lister.

Jenny was absolutely fabulous at Fox and Sons with a recent purchase we just completed on. Due to issues on the vendors side the sale took 7/8 months and was very stressful at points, however, Jenny was very good and keeping in contact and making us aware of the situation as is developed. There were times in the process where it felt that communication between our agents and the vendors agents was poor.

Unusually, I am writing a 5 star review for an Estate Agent I didn't even buy a house off; that is how efficient and professional Braden was. We arranged multiple viewings and on occasion needed to change or cancel these, Braden rearranged things without fuss. He was really attentive to our requirements and advised on multiple other properties that might be of interest and tried to fit these in to suit our busy viewing schedule to avoid us wasting too much time. In the end we ended up having an offer accepted on a property not with Fox and Sons, but had the right property been on their books we would have loved to have bought from Braden.

Tenancy aggreement had to be redrafted 3 times due to errors, no itenary was carried out on the property I rent regardless of endless attempts to book it in, they gave me the wrong keys to a different house when I needed the spare key they hold (massive security risk), i recieved constant letters for 6 months about me not paying rent when I've never missed a payment (I had to call up their headoffice and correct my details myself which shocked the person recieving the call), light switches took 4 months to replace, and when they were, they were upside down. After my first year they requested fees for a new tenancy agreement, when my tenancy was for 24 months. There has been two appointments in which they never turned up or even gave me a courtesy call to let me know they were held up. The loft hatch is currently broken and hangs at head height, yet they won't get it sorted, they seem to forget to get back to you at every opportunity. The team changes every few months so you never have any consistency, utter incompetency and stress. Avoid if youre a tenant with F&S as the managing agent, or a landlord that wants an agent that is prepared to tell the truth and do some work.
