We can't thank the team at the Duston branch enough for their help with our sale and purchase. From Chris' valuation, right through to completion, the team worked tirelessly to get us over the line - especially Becky Toone. At one point, we thought the sale would never happen, due to various delays with our buyer, and we were worried that we would lose our purchase. Becky and the team worked in tandem with our solicitors to move the process forwards, including calling, e-mailing and chasing the buyer and his solicitors, and keeping us up to date every step of the way, until our eventual completion. Of course, I was/still being assisted by others like Johnny, another property During as I go through the process. our first meeting in August 2025, she was very warm and welcoming and especially reassuring that she was going to help me and my husband get the dream house we were looking for. Being a first time buyer and we were not sure of the whole process, and it appeared so daunting to say the least. Megan not helped me finding the house we finally settled for but she also put me through the most brilliant Financial Advisors at Jackson Grundy, James and Louise (who was the main financial advisor who helped me get the right Mortgage loan from our lender. We had an extremely risky chain where the deal could've fell through due to very tight deadlines for completion, but Becky was a force of nature doing everything she could from chasing the buyers/sellers up and down the chain as well as the solicitors . From start to end their service delivery was extremely good. Olivia at the Duston branch maintained communication between us, buyers and both set of solicitors. Olivia shared up to date information making the process less stressful. I would have given 5 stars BUT commission was agreed at a lower %, they tried to charge an higher % and did not in any way state that VAT would be added. This made a significant difference in our payment to them and lacked clarity on their part. However I would go with them again.

GoogleIn August 2024, I instructed Jackson Grundy to list my property - The team were great at getting viewings booked in and we had sold within a month.
We had some issues arise as a result of the age of the property (Built in early 1800s) and this nearly resulted in us losing our buyers. Olivia, Lauren and Georgina were extremely helpful and comforted both the buyer and myself throughout the process.
We finally managed to complete during mid December thanks to Georgina's calm approach as she went above and beyond to keep all parties involved and informed.
Will certainly be using them again in the future 👍

Jackson and Grundy Duston, have been amazing to deal with from start to end. We initially chose them to sell our property, as compared to other agents we approached they did not do a hard sell, harass us, or rubbish other agency’s in comparison to them. Megan and Chris were super professional throughout the selling process and they helped me secure an offer within a week or two of being on the market. Later Becky was superb as the sale progressed and supported above and beyond with facilitating communication between us, all solicitors in the chain and the other estate agents in the chain. I’m so grateful to the whole team for the fantastic service they gave us and after having a pretty dismal view of estate agents prior to working to these guys, I have had my mind well and truly changed. My advice to anyone choosing an estate agent to sell their property is to be careful who you chose to represent you - if they hard sell and make you uncomfortable then the chances are that any potential buyers of your property will feel the same. The team at Duston could not be more pleasant to deal with.
