GoogleJames Day showed me the property and was very professional and has great communication. Highly recommended. What isnt recommended is their aftercare. My inventory was completed yesterday with both my front and back door keys taken by the office for emergency. They even made the point of saying if you ever get locked out just contact the office. Anyway today as i was unloading the car the front door blew shut with the keys inside. I called the office and collected the emergency keys. They were wrong. Then had to drive back to the office to get some different keys. These dont work either! No amswer on the phone so had to drive back again to be told we dont have the keys and i need to pay for a locksmith when i know they have the keys that work as i saw the inventory clerk check them, so im now facing a bill because they cant find the keys. Fair enough it was my mistake but no help what so ever. I suppose i have signed the tenancy now so they arent bothered?

Thanks for the response of my review but I'm still waiting for my refund for the locksmith 2 years later! Whats worse is I have now moved out of the property 2 months ago and have had not response to any of my calls or emails as I still have the only set of keys to a property I haven't lived in since June! Is the branch shut now? How do I get my deposit back!?!
Update - Not September and after moving out in June I still don't have my deposit returned! Had to refer complaint to the ombudsman now as this was supposed to be returned to me in 10 days!

I actually chose Romans to sell my property as the property I am looking to purchase is also through them and I thought it made sense, although had to negotiate a better rate in comparison to other Estate Agents. I have to say to date I have been impressed with the service received, the organisation seems very professional and there were a couple of things that I thought were excellent ideas such as having the Sales Team come round and see my house, meet me and ask any questions plus I could point out what I thought were the key selling points for my house. Having a professional photographer was also another nice touch and I hope that his skills help to sell my property! I found Jack Barton to be very professional and also liked that there was no pressure, I explained my current situation and he assured me that if I wasn't able to secure the right property I could withdraw from Sale.

Zero stars to be clear. Basingstoke branch didn't leave us impressed at all. Handful of viewings with little feedback, no click through stats despite being told wed receive them. Sent numerous correspondence which was ignored but they blamed each other. You deal with a branch manager for 5 minutes then a lot of inexperienced staff who I doubt have ever bought a house.
