Yesterday my Brother in law visited the West Bromwich branch to inquire about a letting, the member(s) wouldn’t let him in, instead preferring to conduct business outside the premises in the cold. My Brother in law is in his seventies and recently lost his wife my sister to cancer, he wanted a fresh start as he no longer wanted to stay in the house they shared for 44 years. With money in the bank, I suggested he visit Connells to talk about a property id seen online, my mistake he won’t be going anywhere near them again. What a way to treat a potential customer. In conclusion if you decide to visit them make sure you have a coat, brolly, and a flask.NegativeProfessionalism

Absolutely disgusted about the way the so call letting manager speaks to people. Makes you feel like crap. I ve worked since I was 16 always rented privately never had issues until now due to person situation I am currently not working so getting benefits. When confronted about his behaviour he became very defensive and even worse. I ended the call as he wasn’t helping him self or me. I feel sorry for the landlord who is renting out this property thought them.

I have quite the personal predicament and have been on the hunt for a place for a couple of weeks now for my little girl and myself. After dealing with several agents and doors shut on me including connells wednesbury, I came in to contact with connells west bromich. I first had communication with amanda, very pleasant, understanding of my situation and for the first time someone listened to me. I then had Kelly from the same branch call me, asked me a few more questions about my position, which I was more than happy to elaborate on. Even though I haven't found somewhere just yet, due to my situation, I can't thank you enough for giving me, not only the time of day but what I need to do my end to get a place as well as, still on the hunt for somewhere my little girl and I can call home. Wouldn't have their mortgage advisors advice at this branch! Wasted 2 weeks worth of my time and messed us about. Gave us an AIP then in the end withdrew the application on the day when we was going to apply for the mortgage, we were told no Connells branch would accept us due to wage slip descpenacies and have to go elsewhere. We had already put an offer down on a house also. Due to the length of time this was taking we lost out on the house! We ended up going to a mortgage broker instead and within a day they sorted us out with the best quotes for our mortgage and took us through the process. Within a week we got our mortgage in principle set! The mortgage brokers communicated effectively and effectiently, this is how it should be!NegativeQuality, Professionalism

I've had no problems so far with this agency; the service appears to be professional and efficient. For example, as I have been arranging to let a flat with them, all pre-let checks incl. the contract, have been satisfactorily dealt with and in good time. No small accomplishment these days, if you take into account all logistic issues with the current epidemics. I am due to move-in in about a week or so. Kelly, the manageress and Amanda, the letting negotiator were professional, friendly and helpful in arranging my hassle-free let.

We put our house on the market in November 2020, knowing automatically that we would use Connells as have used Greg for a few years for mortgage advice. We called Dean who came out and gave us advice and valuation and within 2 weeks it was sold, Courtney completed an open house and was amazing throughout being go between with us the buyers and our solicitors. I realised just how good she was when I had a complete breakdown and cried at her desk one day with the stress of it all. She helped immensley just knowing there was someone on our side. I have advised friends who are not selling and been on market for ages with Paul Carr to contact Dean. My only thing I would say to anyone is choose your own solicitors as ones that Connells advised, Talbots, were awful. Connells were simply brilliant. Truly nice people too.
