Very disappointed with the way this was handled. We had a viewing confirmed for 11:00am today for a property we were seriously interested in purchasing. When we first enquired, we were told that because it was a repossessed property, it would be sold to the highest bidder. Naturally, we expected to be given the opportunity to view the property and submit an offer. This morning, we missed a call from the estate agent, and they left a voicemail asking if we were still attending our appointment. When I called back, I was then told the property had actually been sold yesterday. If the property was sold yesterday, why was our viewing still booked? More importantly, why weren’t we informed until around 10:00am, just one hour before our scheduled 11:00am appointment? We had already set aside time for the viewing, only to be told at the last minute that there was no point attending. It feels very unprofessional to arrange a viewing, tell potential buyers the property will go to the highest offer, and then not even give them the opportunity to view it or make an offer. The communication throughout this process was poor, and the lack of consideration for our time was extremely disappointing.

After being let down by a previous estate agency, I was extremely impressed with the service we received at Connells Estate Agency on selling my late fathers house. The staff were incredibly friendly and we received regular updates. We had many bids on the property after a strong few weeks of showing the house on our behalf. Where do I start. Entered this Connell branch yesterday knowing next to nothing about how to go about buying a house and left needing everything I needed to know. Spoke to Danniella who was very kind and helpful and she advised me that I needed a meeting with their top mortgage adviser Sarah. I had a very disappointing experience with connells. I was scheduled for a viewing(booked by NIKITA BARKER) only to arrive and find out that no one showed up. After waiting for a while and attempting to reach out, I discovered that they don’t even have the property they booked me to view! This lack of professionalism and clear miscommunication wasted my time and made me question their reliability. I would advise others to be cautious when dealing with them.

Extremely disappointed with the the service at Connells West Bromwich, constantly having to chase up, not helpful at all and when I would call the agents seemed very flat and uninterested. The property I was interested in had some quite complex issues, I had to find everything out myself with absolutely no help, then when I would ask to speak to a manager he was on holiday ... Just a mess. I will never use connells West Bromwich again.
