I had a viewing of a home last week and met Rod. He was excellent in every aspect of the process, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. He answered all my questions clearly and made the viewing experience smooth and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Rod to anyone looking for outstanding service.

Do not buy from this company. They lie about the locations of housing association properties as they are sold to private investors so Bovis can get away with listing them as privately owned on their site map. They know exactly what they’re doing. Our estate is essentially a council estate and Bovis do not care about the anti social behaviour or how they clearly misrepresented properties. I am actually semi attached to a HA property when I was assured multiple times it would 100% be a private sale like us. The customer services team are useless and threatened me with legal action. DO NOT BUY A VISTRY HOME.

Bought a new Bovis home in June 2024 and couldn't fault the sales journey or the snagging. All I would say is do your research regarding your plot and the surrounding green areas as we have had issues with various residents gathering in communal spaces, destroying trees, drinking, fighting, swearing, loud music etc. Our supposedly private driveways are used by dog walkers, kids racing on scooters and bikes to shortcut the paths provided- only a matter of time before someone gets injured! Vistry are not interested in helping to resolve neighbourhood issues once the house is sold so ask residents already living on the estate for their opinion before you buy a new home, especially if its near a green space. We have a residents group now and all have to report incidents regularly to Housing Associations and the Police who are working with us to try and resolve issues.

Poor customer service for secure buyers. Visited the Pippins Place development in West Malling as a cash buyer with two mortgage-free properties. I was told there is a long waiting list for an unbuilt plot ready next summer, and that I would need to sell my home and go into rented accommodation to proceed. I was also told to chase them monthly for updates. The sales team completely failed to value a secure, chain-free buyer. They should be chasing the client, not the other way around.

Although we were just passing by the site we called in without an appointment and were given very useful information about the site, the types of dwelling and we were also able view a show house and get an idea of the quality of finish. Bad after sales customer service. A year in and I’m still fighting to get the repairs done I need doing. After raising concerns of the flooring upstairs where they had cut holes they fobbed me off and a short time later my foot went through those holes. My en-suite shower was taken out and put back in 5 times, two weeks without an operational shower and they also put tiles on that were a different colour and tried to tell me I was seeing things. The roof has had to be repaired. I say this very loosely as it’s been bodged. My back garden floods and I’m awaiting the work to be completed. The kitchen sink keeps going rusty and it has been replaced twice. Everything they use in the houses are cheapest of the cheap. Managers and site managers treat you like you know nothing, then they give you a bit of hope by having someone else get involved before then treating you exactly the same. I have had to submit a claim to NHBC and also raise a complaint with the new homes ombudsman. Hate to say it as the area is lovely, but do not buy with bovis/vistry.

We purchased our Bovis Home in 2022. It's a beautiful house with plenty of space, a perfect floor plan, and a dream kitchen. The garden is an ideal size, and the quality of the house is amazing. It stays warm during the winter months, and our utility bills are very low. Our family has lived here for almost two years and we couldn't be happier. Having experienced new builds from other builders, I can confidently say that Bovis is number one. If you're considering a new home, I highly recommend Bovis. I've received numerous compliments from guests about the quality and beauty of our home. P.S. These are my personal thoughts, and I wanted to share my positive experience with these builders. No one has asked me to write this review.

TrustpilotIncomplete roads on development since 2020.
Bovis still haven't finished surfacing the roads on the Ribbans Park Development and its been 6 years since the development was supposedly "finished". Because of this the roads are now in a terrible state on the development haven't been adopted by the county council so no authority is responsible for any pothole repairs for example, this has a significant impact on trying to sell the property on the development.

Bovis / Vistry Avoid at all costs. Our house in Berkshire was handed over to us with over 300 issues!Our home was poorly built and the service we received when trying to get items fixed or replaced was horrific, the worst customer service I have ever received. We were offered money and for our snag list to be dealt with to give them a good review. Shocking. Sadly people need to buy homes so Vistry will continue to profit. But buyer beware.
