GoogleSteve at Oscar James has been fantastic in helping us sell our house! After being on the market for months with a different estate agents and nothing really happening, Steve sold our house within 3 days of it going live with Oscar James! He’s very professional, friendly and helpful, always keeps us informed and I know I could always call if I had any queries! Would highly recommend this estate agents!

GoogleOscar James were knowledgeable about the market in general and the market in our area. Approachable and friendly without being pushy, none of the stereotypical empty sales talk, but honest, genuine and proactive. From the first meeting right through to exchange they went out of their way to support and assist. Helping to prep the house ready for photos to ensure it was captured at its best with support at each viewing. Always at the end of the phone to answer any questions and always returned calls promptly.

GoogleCraig Neil the branch manager was absolutely fantastic in the process of sorting my house. From professionalism of the initial opening phases to closing of contract, I've been extremely happy with the service that's been provided. I'd also like to mention Paul who works as a broker for Oscar James. His ability to assist me within the entire process has been second to none. Oscar James as a team have incredible communication and keep you up to date with everything, every step of the way. I'm extremely excited to move into my new house within the next few weeks.

GoogleBased on previous experiences as a potential buyer we chose Oscar James to manage the sale of our property and we were so pleased with what they did. Within 2 days of giving instruction they had organised an open house viewing with 8 people booked, receiving 6 offers, all of which were above the asking price. An offer was accepted on the day of the open house. They got the right people in so as not to waste anyone's time. The photos and write up of the property were beyond brilliant, showing its true potential while staying realistic so buyers knew exactly what they were getting. As our chain was very simple, we didn't need regular contact with the agents while the conveyancers did their thing but we updated them with any news so they could pass on to our buyers. Towards the end, they let us know how the exchange/completion process was going. They weren't the cheapest agents to go through but, personally, I felt that they were worth it as they represented our property in ways that other agents couldn't.

GoogleGreat service throughout the entire property purchase as a 1st-time buyer with Stephen Hide. Charistmatic, upbeat and a helpful man - even up till the completion stages. Much appreciated for making this a seamless process and keeping me informed at all times. Thanks a lot Oscar James and for your continuous support even in post-completion stages when seeking great property in Wellingborough & Northamptonshire.

GoogleAvoid. Matthew Price, an absolute fouled mouthed, incompetent, clown. If you want an inefficient, disorganised, poor communicative agent, Oscar James has just the one.
Good morning, I am so sorry that you have felt the need to write such a damming review. Our reputation is everything to us and I want to ensure you that action has been taken and that Matthew is no longer with the company. We have worked tirelessly over the last 6 years to build and brand and reputation to match which is unrivalled in our industry having received hundreds of positive 5* reviews and reading yours is very upsetting, so please be reassured that changes have been made. If we can be of any further assistance to you or if you wish to discuss this further then please email me- james@oscar-james.com and I’d be more than happy to help.
