I met with several estate agents when considering selling my property, firstly for valuation, but also to meet who would be selling my home. When I met Eamonn Delaney from Anthony James he immediately gave me the confidence that his team were the ones for the job, and I must say they haven't let me down. I was able to meet with two of his agents at my home (Paige & David) prior to arranging an open day for viewings. This meant that the whole team handling my sale knew exactly what they were selling, rather than just working from a few photos. Several viewings were arranged for the open day, all of which they handled for me without fuss. We received multiple offers on our property within the next couple of days and the team worked hard to achieve the best possible price for us. I looked at several online estate agents that offered 'cheap' services just for you to do all the leg work. Like any high street agent, the team at Anthony James were more expensive than the online agents, but it was worth every penny. The service they have provided throughout has been friendly, efficient and stress free. At every stage I've been kept updated with the progress of the sale, allowing me to trust them to get on with the job in hand. I'd like to say thank you to the team at Anthony James and I'd recommend them without hesitation.

Great experience viewing, discussing and ultimately renting a house in Bexley area. The agents were helpful and responsive, communication was easy via either phone or email. They have taken reasonable steps to represent the demands of us (tenant) and the owner (landlord) to each other, and ultimately help us strike a deal. When we needed to discuss non-standard situations (e.g. we wanted to make final decision only after a the Bexley 11+ test results were published), this was agreed and arranged without any obstacles. Highly recommend.

As a first time landlord I couldn’t be more impressed with the service I received from the team at Anthony James. They guided me and supported me through the whole process and found tenants for my property very quickly. The moment I really knew that I had made the right decision going with Anthony James was when the tenancy was over and there were some discrepancies with the condition of the property. This was no fault of Anthony James, unfortunately I just got a bit unlucky with what state the tenants thought the property should be left in at the end of the contract. I’m sure that other companies could have found themselves in a similar situation and cut ties with the landlord and not helped at all given that financially they were not going to benefit from the dispute. Luckily, Margaret from Anthony James was on the case who is incredibly knowledgeable and mega efficient. She collated all the evidence and ensured that we had the best possible chance of settling the dispute with a positive result. I really couldn’t speak more highly of Anthony James and in particular, Margaret. In summary, the agents speedily found a selection of prospective tenants, the rent was paid on time and when there was an issue they helped rectify it - what more could you want!?

As a first time landlord, I was new to the rental process. Anthony James made preparation for rental easy by answering all my questions and always being avaliable to provide support and advice. I was given a great price, better than any other estate agent offered, for finding tenants. They ensured that I was provided with amazing tenants and had them secured within two weeks of the property going on the market. I'd highly recommend their services to new and veteran landlords alike for their great prices and professional services. Very bad experience with this agency. In the beginning of the letting process they seemed to be very helpful, but when tenancy started and we get troubles with the property, it was so hard to get any help to sort out the issues. And now we finish the tenancy and cannot get back the deposit, agency don't even reply to the emails. They do have a good people working there, some agents are really professional and kind, but in general very disappointed with them.

This is the second time I have used Anthony James and can honestly say how satisfied I am with the service I received. I used them for the sale and purchase of my property and their communications are excellent, keeping me up to date every step of the way. If I had any questions they were answered in a timely manner. Buying and selling can be quite stressful, however I was always reassured when worried . I feel that Eamonn always had my best interest at the fore front. He is very approachable, professional and has a wealth of knowledge in the property industry. He is also a very good negotiator. They were by far the cheapest estate agent and I would totally recommend them if you are thinking of selling or buying a property, hence why I used the twice.
