Infact Janice made the whole experience so seemless, most of the time I feel so anxious whenever a mail comes through because uploading those documents aren’t easy for someone who just got into a new country where things are being done electronically. I don’t wish to go through all of this again soon so I have vowed to continue to be a good tenant as I have always been so we leave this property and get our mortgage, then I can know that time this property is mine. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Do not be fooled by how friendly this agency appears when showing you around a property, once you sign, their true colours show. I moved in just two days ago and already regret it. I was told this was a “silent building” and that I would not hear the people above, a blatant lie. Noise is already a huge issue and I was deliberately misled. Communication has been dreadful from the start. I was promised information, then forced to chase constantly, only to be met with arrogance, rudeness and dismissiveness. They are quick to be nice when they want you to hand over money, but once you’re in, you are treated with utter disregard. Tommy in particular was appalling, (who told me he was the director so I couldn’t talk to anyone above him when I complained) shockingly rude, to the point that I was left in tears while going through a very difficult time. This is not how any professional should behave. They will probably reply to this review to cover their backs, don’t be fooled. I would strongly warn tenants and landlords alike: avoid this company at all costs.

I had the best moving experience with Tina, David and the team. Tina found me the perfect house (and didn’t give up until she did!). David was a pleasure to meet. He kept me informed and made sure all the documents etc were in place. Janice helped me with all IT problems during the application. I also dealt with another team member (forgive me that I can’t remember his name) but he arranged for the keys to be ready and was very nice and polite. They all made a stressful experience very easy. Love them all! Xx

I had a very disappointing experience during my property viewing at Old Mill Road with Tommy - lee staples(property expert) on Monday at 5:45 pm. The agent called me at 5:40 pm. I informed her that I would be a few minutes late due to traffic, but my sister-in-law was already on the way and would arrive on time to view the property on my behalf. Despite explaining this clearly, the agent repeatedly insisted on rescheduling and spoke in a very rude and unprofessional manner, even though the tenant was present and my sister-in-law reached the street at 5:47 pm. When my sister-in-law arrived, she had difficulty locating the property and called the agent for guidance. Unfortunately, she was misdirected to the wrong side of the street. Even then, instead of helping properly, the agent again forced a reschedule and refused to proceed with the viewing. I personally reached the street at 5:55 pm, but there was no response from the agent at all. I had already apologised in advance for being slightly late, yet the behaviour throughout was unhelpful, inflexible, and quite disrespectful. I understand the importance of time, but basic courtesy and professionalism were completely lacking. This experience has left a very negative impression of Anthony James.

She is rude, doesn't let you speak,speaks over you, be-littles you, speaks down to you like your a piece of dirt on her shoe when there is no need for it. Even when she is in the wrong she dose not want to know and won't let you explain everything has to be on her terms she makes you feel like your nothing. "Tells you if I get time I may do it I may not? What do you even need it for anyway". Firstly she shouldn't be talking to me or anyone the way she has just spoken to me like she has secondly it's your job to do it !!! And third it's none of your business what I need it for how rude!!! I really hope there phone calls are recorded. This lady has no customer service skills she is harsh and rude and should not be allowed to speak to tenants let alone people looking to buy/rent Stay away !!!

Please avoid this company if you are a renter, they will take your details and run a credit check, come back to tell you everything went well and you should do a deposit to proceed with your application, soon as you done that, all communication put off, only to come back to you stating, provide guarantor and when you do, they will say the landlord rejected it but you are welcome to use theirs which will double your rent payment. We you refuse and demand your deposit back, they will keep gaslighting you. Suddenly, David, Tommy and Lizzy are never in the office anymore and no one replies back your emails. Please avoid them at all costs.

I started with another agency but found Anthony James who listened to my needs/requirements and exceeded all expectations by going above and beyond. The service I received was outstanding both in terms of the quality of the service/communication and suitability of the tenants that were put forward. Where do I start…Rick went well above and beyond his call of duty and I’ll forever be indebted for the work, support and personal investment he made into my sale. To say it was an awkward transaction would be the biggest of understatements, but Rick demonstrated a diligence and openness to such an extent that I’ll try my best to keep the business relationship going for as long as possible. We have moved with Anthony James and Kim as our agent, employing them after demonstrating exceptional professionalism. As soon as they were employed, Kim came round and clearly explained everything and the charges (no hidden surprises). Listing was up for a few days and an open day was booked with triple the amount of people we had with other agents. This led to multiple offers. Unfortunately we had a long moving process (nothing to do with AJ) but Kim kept us up to date throughout. The main positive with Kim was that unlike everyone else in our chain, when faced with a problem, she found a solution and started it, instead of just telling us problems! The other staff at AJ were all helpful at different points, particularly Rick. AJ and Kim were everything I would expect from agents and I would highly recommended them.

Anthony James are a fantastic agency who made what could have been a very stressful move very easy for us. Dave, Rick, Kim and the team were incredible from day one! They sold our home a few times during the whole process which panned over many months for one reason or another, but remained confident and professional during the selling of our home.
