I recently purchased a property in Solihull through Russell Patterson and I can honestly say that the service he provided was absolutely superlative! I never expected to become a home owner after viewing just a single property but to my surprise we were fortunate enough to have experienced a seamless and almost effortless process completing within 2 months during the busy stamp duty holiday period. I’m sure that we can attribute much of this to Russell having matched us to the right property and expertly negotiated our purchase. I don’t think we would have managed to get hold of our new home without Russell’s help and expertise so I am very grateful and would highly recommend Russell to anybody looking to buy or sell their property. Compared to dealings with a different local agent, I found that Peter Clarke estate agents offer a much more tailored service with, in my view, a more successful business model with superior communication and less stress.

GoogleAfter carrying out my due diligence, for selecting an Estate Agent, I chose Peter Clarke as I saw they put a lot of work into their listings. I spoke with a senior manager, who listened and fully answered all my queries, with confidence. He then went away to carry out his research. An extensive report was provided by the end of the week, providing objective data regarding relative to my property. My property was listed during the lockdown period and began receiving offers within weeks and a firm was put forward and accepted shortly thereafter. Throughout the whole process, Wellesbourne Branch Manager, Mr Turner was on an absolute gem. A consummate professional. His knowledge, honesty and hard work ethic was much respected and appreciated. Buying or selling a home is never a easy task, however you will be hard pressed to find a better Estate Agency than Peter Clarke.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleWe have just bought a property through Peter Clarke, It wasn’t the most straight forward purchase however the team at Wellesbourne were extremely helpful and supportive all the way through. I’d like to give a a special mention to Viv who looked after us from the start. It felt as though Viv went above and beyond to get any issues sorted as quickly as possible and was fantastic with communicating between us and other parties involved. Viv kept us updated constantly and made the whole process less stressful for us. I had the pleasure of dealing with Russell and the team at Peter Clarke for the purchase of my new home January - June 2021. At the beginning of my journey I felt Russell looked after me brilliantly. All of my viewings were all arranged quickly and with issues arising when it came to the actual legal work of the sale (between all parties). My solicitors also commented everything had been done very well throughout. Russell maintained regular communication with me every step of the way. GoogleWe used Peter Clarke, Wellesbourne to purchase our first home and were amazed by how lovely they were. Vivienne kept us updated constantly and nothing was too much trouble, she kept us more in the loop than our own solicitors did. Within 24hrs of viewing the house, we received a courtesy call to see if we had any further questions or wanted to book another viewing in. We then made an offer later that day and whilst waiting for searches and surveys to get back a few weeks later Viv kindly asked if we wished to view the property again, which we did. The one sale was a bit of a nightmare & required lots of attention but Russ dealt with it like a true professional ! Couldn’t have done either without him, would definitely recommend Peter Clarke’s to anyone !

Sara Jordan Leamington office what a horrible woman, insisted we fill in all sorts of nonsense to get an apointment then didnt reply nada! So i walked in met by surly Sarah and she said property under process by others...so thats it? Couldnt be bothered to a) thnak us for registering or b) saying sorry we will keep you on books.

It was assumed my house would be easy to sell but that was not the case. I always had an enthusiastic response from the team when I called to find out why it wasn't selling. If Barney was not available there was always someone else who knew the history of the sale which I found reassuring. There was nothing that was too much trouble over the time it took to sell the house. I remember feeling calm and happy during that episode of moving.

Unwilling to carry out a viewing ‘in the current circumstances’ unless a prospective buyer is already sold. If every agent did this then no one could possibly sell and the market would stagnate. Their response. “We’ve never been so busy”. The current situation is not likely to change in the next six months. Covid is here to stay and the good estate agents are working with their clients to minimise the risks, carry out safe viewings at no risk to the vendor and earning their % rather than sitting in the office and rubbing their hands together. Speaks volumes. Vendors beware you won’t get many viewings!!
I am sorry to read of your experience with Peter Clarke & Co but we do still stand by the procedures we have in place during this pandemic. We are operating in very challenging times and the safety of our staff and clients are an utmost priority. As such, with our clients agreement we are only allowing viewings with proceedable parties to minimise risk. With the stamp duty changes in place as well, the market is showing a significant increase and therefore we are carrying out a full diary of viewings with proceedable parties and are not seeing a reduction in numbers as you may expect. I understand your frustrations but with such a significant upturn in the market we are finding that the market is still moving significantly and as such we don't currently run the risk of the market going stagnant. Our procedures are regularly reviewed and we will adapt as and when the market dictates the need to.

If you would like to rent out a property to a squat or a drug den... then these are the agents for you! Doesn’t matter how much you complain... call the police... they literally don’t care. Money is all they think about. Not surrounding businesses, neighbours... as long as they get their commission the property is yours. Not forgetting in the middle of the global pandemic, they gave permission to gardeners to enter though the front of my property and climb over my wall. As a shielded person myself, quite frankly I’m shocked they would recommend people to enter my property without consent, without thought, without care. Clearly this company conduct their business following no government guidelines. And have unscrupulous morals.

Peter Clarke’s Shipston on Stour office marketed my property and Peter Clarke in Stratford Upon Avon were dealing with the property we wanted to purchase. The service throughout has been excellent from the market appraisal, the photographs (we couldn’t believe how good they were), helping us get the price we needed and agree a deal on our purchase. I can’t thank the team at Peter Clarke & Co Estate Agents, Stratford Upon Avon enough for all the help support they gave me when I was purchasing my property with them.It was a particularly stressful time as I was purchasing my house from an older vendor. They not only helped & guided her through the process but were also professional, friendly and offered practical help to me. They had a dedicated expert liaising with solicitors and the legal side of things which ensured that everything kept to schedule and everyone communicated with each other.Melanie was a real star in keeping everything on track and everyone calm!This was especially helpful for me after I was under extreme pressure to keep to a deadline from my buyers!Melanie, Peter, Kerry and the team all had their own key strengths but worked really well as a team and I don’t think I could have completed my sale and kept my sanity without all their help! So I didn't even have Peter Clarke as my estate agent but had to deal with them as my vendor's solicitor. One agent in particular who I shall not name as I shall be raising a complaint against him personally.Utterly appalling lack of professionalism, incompetence and negligence that has left me financially at a loss. In short I asked to be allowed into my prospective property early to do some cleaning as the place was filthy. Request made a month in advance and then several times later. Request ignored until exchange done and then totally messed up as he thought I wanted a contractor to come in even though I stated i was doing it personally. Access to the property denied, lost a day of holiday, loss of cleaning equipment hire, entered my new property to filthy carpets and house.The worse was still to come. Agent communicated incorrect service charge to me by half! I gave incorrect figured to the bank for my mortgage and day before completion my solicitor won't allow completion until bank ratifies new expense. Another day off work to sort and I get to pay double the amount a year in service fees.On the day of the move the agent in questions leaves the office so he doesn't have to hand the keys to me. Coward. Appalling behaviour. Complaint to follow.

However in a situation such as this when any work is to be carried out on behalf of the purchaser prior to completion of the sale, written consent must be obtained through the solicitors and insurance must be in place. Please accept our apologise as it is apparent that your intentions to clean the property yourself were not registered as both parties clearly had crossed wires from the outset. Once your intentions were apparent and made clear, access unfortunately had to be refused. The agent did find a company at short notice that could carry out the cleaning however this was rejected as you felt the cost to be too high, which is understandable. We will always strive to act in a professional manor, being attentive and proactive. If you felt that at any point in the transaction that this was not the case, then again please accept our apologies.It is highlighted that the service charge information given to you was incorrect; we do often have to rely on information given by third parties. This information is on a signed document received from the vendor, which we retain on file. Our due diligence is always carried out and in place and this information is always subject to verification by your appointed solicitor. Unfortunately, we are not at liberty or able to verify this information any further; this is ultimately down to the solicitors. As you are now aware we are in direct contact with you in relation to this matter.
