We started the process of selling a house in Warwick about a year ago with Peter Clarke and found the whole process very rewarding. We found all the staff extremely friendly and very professional. The method and system used by Matthew and his team to set a sale value, establish a timeline for launch of the property onto the market and managing all interested applications was excellent. A key aspect of superior levels of marketing was not only the excellent photos but the additional walk thru property video. This generated a number of very keen buyers and established a series of very appropriate offers. Matthew was a very helpful advisor in a very collaborative manner and steered us through to a very pleasing sale of the property in a surprisingly short period of time. They continued to provide good advice with excellent communication in handling of the buyer through the inevitable questions and requests they had right through to signing of contracts. Peter Clarke, Matthew and his team deliver a very high house sale service. A big thank you to all the team Dave Kingston

Bias selection process not sure if the landlords are aware as potentially losing out of prospective tenants. There is an application process before any checks. Once your application is successful then they carry out checks. It's been a complete waste of time travelling all the way for 4 hours to view their properties. The first property apparently been let and offered to view another one which had a lot of applications then was shown another one that had not yet been listed and was told by Monika I was 1st on the list of applications for that particular property - This is where Peter Clarke does it's bias selection - Was told my application did not get selected. Avoid if you don't want your time wasted.
We are sorry that your application was unsuccessful. As discussed, we were in receipt of multiple applications which we discussed with the landlord and it was a difficult decision for the landlord to make, but ultimately only one application can proceed per property. We had block viewings arranged for the property to ensure it is the fairest way possible for interested parties to view. As we knew of a neighbouring property coming available, we showed you and other parties this property too, to assist in the property search. If any other properties do come available, we would be happy to keep you updated.

They made the procedure really easy, they are so helpful and thoughtful and were more than happy to help in any way they could. I have been updated all the way along the line and any queries I did have were dealt with promptly and answers provided without me chasing. We sold our house with Peter Clarke and were very happy with them, Giles, Pav and Matthew were brilliant. We had no issues with viewings and great feed back afterward, and up dates throughout the time the house was on the market. Any questions were quickly answered. Pav was great dealing with negotiations and put up with my endless questions. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend using Peter Clarke in Leamington. A first class service and highly recommend them to anyone thinking of selling their home.

The sale of my mother’s house who had just recently passed away was a very difficult time for me but Matt, Pav and the team were so kind and professional it was much easier than I had thought it would be.Five stars for communication, from adequate notice of viewings to feedback and then progress of the sale without being nagged, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. They found lovely purchasers very quickly and the sale went through without any problems. After every viewing we received immediate feedback and the team were brilliant at following up with everyone who viewed. When it came to receiving offers, the team checked the entire chain promptly to ensure everyone was proceedable - this saved us some valuable time when one offer was found to be from a collapsed chain that the person was unaware of! Then, when the solicitors got involved, Kerry and the team have been fantastic at driving through the sale and keeping us updated on progress through the chain and supporting us in dealing with queries raised. I changed to Peter Clark after my house had been on the market unsuccessfully with another agent. Within the week I had 4 viewings and an offer over my asking price. Giles made the whole process seemless, supporting me right through to exchange. They provided excellent photographs and some great drone footage. The walk through video also presented the property really well. Communication within the whole office was excellent, all knew who I was and about my property in detail. Before I begin it is unsurprising to read that most positive reviews are to do with home sales - in my own PERSONAL experience when PC&Co have your money, they are finished with you!!!I have never experienced discrimination on the level I have from Peter Clarke and Co which has now caused me serious destress and they also don’t care. I have enquired about some building works on a communal building my flat is located in. As Peter Clarke and Co didn’t ‘order’ the works they have literally told me they are unwilling to discuss it. Harriet is by far one of the rudest people I have EVER spoken to on the phone, huffing and puffing and cutting me off to tell me she ‘wants to go home’. When Michael is done talking to you, he ignores you. I also have NEVER had to seek advice from a solicitor before. Before renting to me PC&Co knew I had certain health conditions and the response I have had is not only unkind, but actually discrimination. They have made me feel so terrible and worthless for things that I cannot control. If you suffer with any form of health condition DO NOT become a tenant with this agent. They will only find you an ‘irritation’ for what I can only presume is small charge they get for managing. I am now being ignored no matter who I email. I have actually asked Michael for a document letting me know what PCCo’s internal obligations to tenants are - this has been ignored - I asked Harriet for this on the phone. I have asked for the details of the individual I need to begin an internal complaint, ignored. I am not even sure it is completely legal to refuse these documentations and details if asked. The person responsible for this company seriously needs to consider some further training in basic customer service and compassion for these (seemingly) arrogant and offensive agents.If a response is left to this publicly I am sure it’ll all be my fault - they are full of words and very little action. They actually have not the single interest in even trying to disguise their absolute disdain for you. Michael even commented that ‘works would not stop because of me’ - I never asked them to. PC&Co also knew these works were beginning and failed to be transparent of the gravity of the situation and impact it’d have on peoples lives. That was my qualm.Only in Stratford Upon Avon ehhh!!!They’ll be very glad too hear I won’t be renewing my contract, but certainly not as glad as I am. I’m sure I will also be completely ‘paid back’ in my checkout process and I’m sure I’ll be getting plenty of emails from them about ‘what they want’.A service poorer I am yet to encounter. Even last year a few days before x-mas I locked myself out and though they held a key they refused to assist me but to give me the number of a ‘locksmith’ … 80£ later.In the communal area I reside in I know one thing, I am not alone in my ideas of this companies attitude. Even the lady who comes and does inspections likes to comment on your personal decor and a more sarcastic person I’m yet to meet.Once they have your money they’ll be done with you and with my already pre existing issues I now have to spend time wasting the remainder of my tenancy filling out paperwork for ombudsmen and the like. You know I wasn’t even allowed too move out on July 1st even though I pay my last rent this month … me thinks that’s due to the place being covered in scaffolding with workmen right outside the window drilling into the walls. Curious right???On a slightly different matter.1. Recently received a revised ‘fire’ documentation even though the electrics cupboard for the area is full of other neighbours junk and flammable liquid. I don’t understand how this has been verified and signed off. Oh well, at least that cupboard is only underneath my kitchen.Customer service - What service???Reliability - 0Kindness and Compassion - Nope!!!

As we explained, the work has been carried out at the request of the block management company acting for the freeholder and therefore, your landlord and Peter Clarke & Co have no control over this work but it has been deemed necessary so must be carried out. My journey to move home actually began back in 2020. I made a purchase from Peter Clarke and Co for a lovely apartment. The whole process was quick and painless and I reached completion within 8 weeks. During this period, I was constantly kept informed on progress and any potential issues were quickly flagged and dealt with. My initial impression was that this estate agent really care as opposed to just trying to make a sale. It was evident the amount of time and effort they put in at every stage and they really did their best for me to make the process as easy as possible. Move forward 2 years and I was on the move again, be it at one of the most challenging times of all with the pandemic and associated budget crisis. Due to the good experience I had previously had, I decided to ask them to sell my place to move back down South. It was not easy and really took some effort, but the team really looked after me. The level of customer service received was always polite and professional. Despite the many challenges of the current times, they managed to sell my place and help with the many challenges and blockers along the way. I would personally like to thank Renee, Matthew, Jane and the rest of the team. I will always remember and be grateful for the excellent service I received.
