GoogleThis is a review 7 years in the making - when we first moved into our property with Roland Dunn, my wife and I were engaged, with 1 child and were basically just starting out on our life together. We are now married with 2 more children and the only reason we are leaving Roland Dunn is because we are moving abroad. They are more than just a letting agency, they have seen our lives grow, change, stood with us in the bad times (redundancies with no income), shown empathy and understanding and have celebrated with us in the good times. It isn't often that renting a property and dealing with letting agents is a pleasurable experience, but they are the exception to the rule:- Professional Reliable Understanding Fair The list of accolades could go on, suffice to say I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone who is looking to rent a property in the Hailsham AreaPositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleDisappointed and made to feel that I'm not good enough to rent a property through this company. Put a request to view a property of the same value I am currently in. After stating my income, that I am single and have two children I was told I did not earn enough and would need a guarantor. Felt very disheartened as I have never required this. I am a qualified professional in a secure job but was told that doesnt count for anything. Then when I stated that I have pets - 4 crate trained and toliet trained small dogs and a fully litter trained cat I am yet again dealt another blow. The property I enquired about does not state no pets. I even stated that I am a Registered Qualified Veterinary Nurse of 15yrs. I appreciate that some Landlords do not want pets in there property but that is 50% plus of the market being excluded. Icing on the cake - I haven't heard anything back from this letting agent - I spoke to them on Friday it's now Monday. No phone call, no email - I guess I'm not going to be getting a viewing. The rental market is becoming so difficult for people like myself.
Ultimately, it is the property owners choice as to who gets the keys to their property, so they set our criteria. Nevertheless, I am genuinely sorry that you felt dissatisfied with the way your viewing inquiry was handled. That is not a feeling that I would want anyone to have after dealing with my agency.

GoogleThis letting agency is amazing. From the time we walked through the door, we were treated with respect and very professional. We agreed a managed tenancy with them and they were great at always dealing with our questions and issues quickly and efficiently. The visits to check the property were more like friends visits and always focused on keeping both us and the Landlord happy. I would certainly recommend them to all tenants and Landlords. GoogleUnprofessional, judgemental and rude. They think they are doing everyone else a favour when they have lost out on tennant's that have been asked to stay by landlords due to their excellent track record. Their criteria changes depending on how they feel too. Your loss. And on another note your are just letting agents... You can't talk down to tennant's when they clearly earn more money than you.
It is difficult for me to respond to specific details of your complaint without knowing your name or further information about the matter. However, your post reads as if you failed an application to rent one of my clients properties. It is true that different Landlords have different criteria and some Landlords do not want us booking viewings without their prior approval. I can assure you that all applicants are asked the same initial questions so every application starts on an even footing. Nevertheless, I am sorry if you feel that we did not communicate this clearly or courteously.
