I instructed Rolstons Estate Agents to sell my property, after listing with another agency. I currently live in Watford and I was constantly seeing Rolston's for sale boards with "Sold" stamped across them, I wanted my own "Sold" board also! From the initial contact with Stephen, he was very professional and knowledgeable on the area and explained the process that Rolstons would follow. From the first meeting with Rolstons I was very impressed and confident with their professionalism which put my mind at ease. Stephen was constantly updating me with their plans and how they were marketing the property and reaching out to potential buyers from their comprehensive database. I received many appointments from the first week and each appointment was managed by Rolstons (I actually met a couple of their staff when leaving my house and they also were very professional and informative). What I learnt from the process was how well organised Rolstons are and an insight into how a professional agency is managed - the phrase "Aces in Places" sprang to mind - from initial instruction (Stephen) I was walked through the process, sales progression was mainly managed from another ace in Holly and then after receiving several offers, I was then talked through the best offer and offered suggestions, which I'm glad I took their advice. The next Ace in place was the very impressive Danielle who kept me up to date with the sales progress, requirements and was very thorough in pushing the sale through in a timely and efficient manner. Whilst I say there were "Aces in places", at any stage I could pick up the phone and Rolstons were on hand, I often spoke with Scott and Matthew in the office and they were always able to update me with the status of the sale. If you are looking at selling your property in Watford, I couldn't recommend Rolstons highly enough . I'd also go further to suggest you save time on negotiating with other agents, just instruct Rolston's if you want your property sold - they might not have been the cheapest I was offered, but they sold my house at the price and time that probably saved me more overall

They succeeded in securing a sale on our property when other local agents hadn’t been able to, which really shows their professionalism, strong marketing, and ability to qualify the right buyers. A huge thank you to the wonderful Scott for getting the deal over the line, and in particular to Danielle, who managed the progression through to exchange. Having spoken with her daily (sometimes hourly!) over many weeks, it will feel very strange not to be in touch anymore. She is an absolute asset to the business…responsive, reassuring, and incredibly on top of everything. I was selling house in late 2023, early 2024. long story short, the buyer revised offer, I acted against Rolstons advice at the time and the deal fell through, house was eventfully sold through another agent with even lower market price. It was partially due to a difficult market, partially my own fault didn't listen. However, Rolstons have been hands down the best agents for me, I was always kept in the loop by Matthew and Paul even out side office hours, they are very experienced and extremely knowledgeable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We have moved a few times over the last few years and have never been happy with the estate agent - our friends suggested Rolstons Watford as they’d had a really good experience. We were so glad we did, from start to finish of the sale and moving process they were outstanding. We achieved the asking price with the house being on the market for just a week which I couldn’t believe as the market was really tough, they constantly kept us updated and made the experience stress free which was such a nice change compared to previous experiences. They were professional and kept the process going at a very fast pace meaning even though we were in a chain of four the sale was completed in a short space of time- we always highly recommend them now and would definitely use them again.

After failing to sell my house with a local agent for what seemed an eternity, i finally found success with Rolstons. i booked a viewing with Scott for what has now turned out to be our forever home and he explained how rolstons could help and how it would be different, half expecting the same dribble i received from other agents i decided i had nothing to lose and invited them around. Stephen came to appraise my house… he was honest. He explained what he felt was incorrect about the current marketing of my house and it was an eye opener. After a few viewings my buyer was found. Paul managed my sale through to the end and i must say, had it not been for him and some added help from matthew in pauls absence, then the whole chain would have collapsed and so not only I, but 3 other families have moved in because of their determination. Having moved a few times over the last few years we were anxious about what estate agent to use this time as past experiences were unpleasant and very stressful. Our friend’s recommended Rolstons’ Watford after they had a really good experience. We we gave them a go and so glad we did, from start to finish they were amazing and made the whole experience stress free and incredibly quick. We had a few quotes all giving the same asking price but Rolstons didn’t seem to be there with hard selling pressure they just wanted what was best for us - a refreshing experience. Within a week of our house being on the market it was sold for the asking price price which really surprised us as the market was really tough at that time. The communication was outstanding which meant that even though we were in a chain of four the sale went through incredibly quick. We never had to chase them for updates like previous experiences, they were always one step ahead and always had everything under control and the whole process was stress free- again something we weren’t use to with other agents. We always recommend them now and would definitely use them again.

Rolston's team have been great selling my first home and I would recommend them to anyone, including Shared Ownership sellers (you would be surprised at the level of incompetence with Shared Ownership from other estate agents I shall not name). In a nutshell - excellent marketing, great transparency and communication from the beginning, nice people. I had support primarily from Scott during the sale and Stephen during the marketing phase - selling shared ownership in a chain isn't easy but they made a stressful and otherwise painful process feel as easy as can be! Scott had excellent communication and is a genuinely great person. I haven't a single criticism. Only note for improvement - they are primarily a phone company, which just isn't my style. Personal preference but would've appreciated emails instead of phone calls; they didn't adapt to my preference. Overall the whole experience was such a breath of fresh air after my first attempt at selling shared ownership with a (cheaper) national well-known company which was so bad, I had to beg their regional director to terminate my contract. Do not doubt it and go for a cheaper agency - you get what you pay for, as I painfully learned... Highly recommend Rolston's. Peace of mind and a successful sale enabling me to move on with my life = priceless.
