GoogleAvoided renting with them or take a photo of everything in the house clearly when you begin renting and sent to them by email, other wise they will cut from the deposit at the end of of term. No matter what the house looks like or even if it's more clean than when you begin renting( which was exactly my case).I think most of the reviews are regarding sale otherwise I don't see how they got 4+.

GoogleI have sold and rented with Marshall Vizard. Unfortunately the lettings department are incredibly unprofessional and tried to sting us with charges at the end of the contract. David was very good when selling the house but has now left the company.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

Recently they successfully marketed the flat leading to its sale. GoogleExcellent and very professional team. I rented a property from them for two years. Clear information was provided during the viewing stage and it was a smooth experience renting with them. The team is very responsive and follow up on all emails. Towards the end of my tenancy, I always got notice in advance of viewings. I got my deposit released in a few days after moving out. GoogleRenting a property through Marshall Vizard we moved into our accommodation in June 2020, they claimed it had been professionally cleaned but state of cleanliness was extremely low. During covid we expected extra care to be taken but when we made the estate agent aware of the situation with the photos below(further photos of greasy cupboard, uncleaned toilet, coffee marked walls have not been included), we received no response and we were left to clean it ourselves. Further to this, upon the departure from the accommodation at the end of our tenancy we had the fee of a professional cleaner taken from our deposit despite cleaning the flat by hand and in fact leaving it in a generally better state than when we arrived. Poor customer service, low standards, they don't protect the interest of tenants and will take money at every opportunity. Would recommend if using them, take photo evidence of the state of the flat directly upon receipt of the keys, it may become very helpful

GoogleWe have been really impressed with Marshall Vizard. They were the estate agent selling the place we bought back in 2016 and have recently sold the same property through them because we were really happy with their service back then. They continue to be excellent and we are so grateful we chose them to handle our sale as it turned out to be a more complicated process than expected - buying and selling during a pandemic was never going to be straightforward... They are professional and great with communication but also really friendly and approachable. We have now moved out of their area but we would be using them again in future if we were still in Watford. Highly recommend.
