Great customer service at Chippenham Cinch Self-Storage

We used self-storage at the Chippenham store for eight weeks and it all went fine. Andrew showed us round the Chippenham branch to check that the space was large enough for our bikes and explained how to set it up with our padlock and use the keypads to enter and exit. Even when my husband set off the room alarm Andrew helped and was really easy to deal with. The whole unit and offices area is so clean and tidy. It was easy to phone up and extend how long we needed the storage for.

Well I had a situation with my move last Friday whereby we were running quite late and I was put at ease by the pleasant, professional and friendly Receptionist at Sittingbourne. She granted me extended time to accommodate and to ensure the move could be completed efficiently. Also, overall, her willingness to communicate effectively and help resolve a situation and put things back on track was second to none. Taking the stress out of a stressful situation is her uniqueness and Anita passed with flying colours. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend this company to friends and colleagues

I have found the service provided to be friendly and efficient. On the day of our moving the assistance provided was much appreciated, as we needed more storage space this was provided without any fuss and made the whole moving experience less stressful. In particular Andrew has most helpful and pleasant every time I have visited. I have enjoyed reading the witty quotations in the lift which help to make each visit interesting and amusing. Newmarket Cinch....new, modern, well designed building, lifts, trolleys, very clean. Easy to access, get to, park, private & extremely secure. Never had need to use storage before so didn't know what to expect. Jack dealt with my initial enquiry & went out of his way to answer all my queries. I inadvertently sent enquiry form to wrong branch who forwarded it onto Newmarket so clearly on the ball & keen for business specially as my error. The day of signing paperwork was brilliant, easy & thorough albeit missed insurance paperwork but they phoned & cleared it up & sorted swiftly. They agreed times to phone & kept to it but without the feeling of being hassled as seemed to understood reason for storage was clearly a tad stressful time. They even advised best time to sign paperwork to maximise the half price storage period which they didn't have to do advising me ways to ensure what I felt value for money. As obviously a branch of the huge chain Cinch the staff @ Newmarket made it a personnel experience clearly caring about its customers & branch. Cinch should be very proud. I hope for my time there long may it continue. Thank you

A fantastic, safe and secure place to store your possessions with excellent customer service from Aaron!!! A great option for Londoners too as it's much cheaper and only 1 hour away! Initially, Aaron gave us an excellent deal over the phone (with price match guarantee and inclusive of content insurance) and even helped us to select a smaller storage option once he saw how much we had to store leading to a further reduction in cost!!! He does excellent coffee (or tea) and biscuits, too!! Would HIGHLY recommend!!!

I was at Cinch Self Storage in Enfield for approximately two years, initially finding it accommodating to my needs. However, a promising start devolved into a series of challenges and disappointments, culminating in an unsatisfactory departure.Initially, the facility met my requirements adequately. Unfortunately, issues soon arose, most notably the dwindling parking space due to abandoned vans occupying precious spots for over a year. This, coupled with a perpetually broken shutter and damaged flooring near the entrance, posed safety hazards and hindered the ease of moving items. My experience was marred by a substantial decline in service quality and maintenance.The most frustrating aspect was the unexpected and frequent price hikes. Within a short span of six months, I encountered two price increases, causing a substantial rise in payments from an initially reasonable rate to an exorbitant sum, exceeding over £600 for two units.Upon bringing these concerns to the store manager, seeking resolution and hoping for a more positive experience, the response was dismissive. Our valid complaints were downplayed, with assertions that these issues were recent, despite evidence to the contrary.The process of vacating the units was met with further obstacles. Despite adhering to the stipulated two-week notice period for departure, we encountered resistance and were erroneously charged for an additional month, burdened with unjustified moving fees and insurance charges for the entire month on both units. Attempts to negotiate and reason with the management were met with delays and unfulfilled promises.While some staff members demonstrated friendliness and courtesy, the company's ethos appeared profit-driven, prioritizing financial gains over customer satisfaction and operational upkeep.In conclusion, my two-year tenure with Cinch Self Storage in Enfield culminated in a regrettable departure, marred by unexpected charges, unresolved issues, and unfulfilled promises. I caution potential clients against choosing Cinch, recommending established storage providers with a commitment to equitable treatment and customer satisfaction.Update: Me and my business partner were renting the units. If we were able to merge into one person maybe i would have also been on the account. Your false claims amuse me, send me proof of you providing us a quote matching the price we sent you over. We are still waiting for this quote today. False claims of verbally abusing staff couldn't be more untrue. On our exit we were charged more even when we were promised no additional charges, the very nice worker at the time had nothing but good words about us and we even helped her clean out our unit. Your lack of accountability and ability to resolve an issue clearly is an internal issue.

Super professional, trustworthy company. Great customer service, easy to speak to and very flexible. I had arranged to store my stuff with them in Enfield and felt confident everything would work perfectly, but I ended up cancelling on the day of the move because my friend offered to keep my things for me instead. There was absolutely no issue with cancelling, they're even going to refund me the holding deposit! So I can't speak to the whole process from beginning to end, but everything I've seen so far indicates that they are a great company who take pride in providing a great service, and I would happily recommend them to friends and family. A relief after reading horrible reviews from other companies honestly.
