We have worked along side Cinch in Newmarket before through the company I work for and each time they have been easy to work alongside. For personal belongings we have now rented out our own unit and Nijole was extremely helpful from the start. She allowed us to look at the unit prior to renting and made the overall experience very easy. The location is easy to access and locate. I would highly recommend.

Cannot fault the service - excellent in every way!

Cannot fault the service! Everything was incredibly easy, pleasant and efficient from beginning to end. We needed somewhere to store my daughter's university stuff over the summer holidays. Dawn and Jordan in the Sidcup team were warm, welcoming, professional, friendly and very quick to respond to all queries from initial enquiry through to handing back the unit. It was easy and completely reliable to get in and access the unit out of hours when needed and when it came to us handing back the unit at the end of the summer it was all very simple and straightforward. Would highly recommend.

Good storage in Sidcup

We’ve been using Cinch at Sidcup since 2020 and have been really pleased with them. Jordan, Scott and Dawn are always helpful and keep the place in good order. Parking is good and there are lots of trolleys (although a few more with sides on would be helpful!).

We found everything about the Cinch storage facility in Leighton Buzzard to be top class, from start to finish. Jason and Matt were both extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I have had a wonderful experience!

I have had a wonderful experience so far with Cinch. On calling I spoke with Jack who was very attentive when I shared my requirements. I was swiftly contacted by Lauren the Shoreham branch manager to chat through my options. Lauren was communicative and has been genuinely supportive and helpful in recommending options for my storage needs. I have felt that the quotes were fair and that if I needed to stay on longer, I would be looked after. This has been a really pleasant experience and I would not hesitate recommending the Cinch Shoreham branch, in fact I have!

Very unhappy with the treatment my husband my little 12 year-old daughter and myself got a storage in Brentwood on Tuesday the eighth last week. We have been using safe storage in grand for the past three years absolutely no problems. Their old staff treated with respect and were very helpful and the all staff still are very respectful and helpful but a new girl that only started working there about seven months ago called Maddie came down with a problem on Monday, the 7th of September on Tuesday the 8th of September we went down to fix the problem which was to sort our stuff in the unit so it wouldn’t be coming out into the hall when we would be taking it out to put in our van she came down screaming and arguing with my husband, very unprofessional in front of 12-year-old daughter that wasn’t bad enough. She then came out with filthy language in front of my 12-year-old daughter it’s just not acceptable. Also she was being very racist towards us on the way back up to our office. She was still screaming and giving out very unprofessional. We are now moving out of our units to a different storage as I do not accept this behaviour towards my husband myself or my one year-old child we are giving up four units. We were very good customers and also we have some friends that were renting their and they are also moving. I still can’t believe the way we were retriever. She did not want us using the trolleys went clearly as we taught the trolleys are there for the customers use? Apparently they’re just there for some customers. She clearly had something against us and why we do not know absolutely disgusted cannot believe the behaviour of this lady

Moving home, so went to look at some storage that was closed by. Went in to Cinch Self Storage in the Wisbech branch. Guys in there help with everything from making sure the unit size will be enough to helping with boxes to pack up my house with. Site was all indoors and clean and tidy. Highly recommend

I was amongst the first to take two units at Cinch Self-Storage Shoreham when it was still under construction - Lauren and Jack have been absolutely fabulous with their friendly, efficient professionalism. It is a superb facility. Well built and very secure. Loading-in couldn’t be easier with plenty of easy to handle large and small trolleys. Well lit with toilet facilities. It took a while to find them after doing a thorough check of all the other storage facilities in the area. They came out the best, ticking all the boxes and I was not disappointed.

Rats in the storage unit.

Rats ate and defecated all over our belongings.We paid over £4500 for our items to be stored safely so we had them for our new home. A couple of weeks before our move we went to the storage unit to check over what was there. While going through the boxes we notice a horrible smell, then realized that the granules on top of our boxes were rodent droppings.When we discovered the issue we spent most of our Sunday day moving items to a new unit and going through checking for damage. We did have plans for the rest of the day, but had to cancel them so we could move our belongings. We did ask for a dustpan and brush so we could clear the rodent droppings off the tops of boxes (so we didn't have to touch it) but this never materialised. There was no assistance offered at this stage from Cinch besides the new, smaller, unit. We lost our fridge, our sofa, our armchair and a mattress. There were knaw marks on a 1940s dressing table my mother gave me. The rats had climbed inside our boxes and nested in my tea cups. We were then told to file a claim with insurance and it seems Cinch at that point considered the matter closed. When we requested assistance in chasing the insurance company, this wasn't given. They eventually got back to us due to my follow up with them. Something that took up a large amount of my time, while trying to organise our move and work full time. Frankly, it used time I did not have. We eventually received funds from the insurance company over six weeks after we originally noticed the damage. We have been without a fridge or sofa in our new home for approaching 3 weeks. Due to Cinch's negligence, we had nowhere cool to store our food when the temperature has been approaching 30°C. Cinch's response to this has been appalling. We weren't offered help going through or sorting out belongings. We weren't given any help in chasing the insurance company. The only thing Cinch has done is cover the delivery costs for the new items, but I had to call 4 times and email multiple times to get this response. I understand things happen, storing items in storage units will never be without risk. But Cinch's handling of this situation has been terrible, that is the reason for the single star. If Cinch had been proactive in helping us, chasing the insurance company, covering delivery, and showing they wanted to make right this situation, it would have been far less stressful and upsetting.

Great storage facility

Great storage facility, easy to use and very secure. I had no worries leaving my possessions there. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Jason who made me very welcome. Although a business, I felt at home there. I used the facilities for 13 months and found them to be always well kept and clean. Even in summer, the temperature was fairly cool, so it was no problem to access things. I would definitely recommend, and use them again if needed.
