Warwick office amateurs

Referring to the Warwick office who come across as amateurs. They had one buyer for us at a substantial discount on the asking price and stopped sending anyone else over to view. I told them not to stop until we had a memo of sale but no. What's happened, the buyers have had to pull out because their buyers pulled out. Two weeks after supposedly getting the sale. Never again.

The team at R A Bennett have provided endless support during a long and complicated sale process, which was completely out of their control. Throughout the sale they kept me well informed and gave excellent support and advice. I am especially thankful to Ian Whitfield, for doing all he could to provide reassurance when I was faced with many external obstacles. He worked hard to find solutions and went above and beyond to ensure the sale went as smoothly as possible. Whenever I communicated via phone/ e-mail, or visited the office, I was always greeted with warmth and excellent professionalism. There are an exceptional team of professionals in this branch. The guys at Bennett’s all seem to be aware of you, your property and the circumstances and are always positive and proactive. The team have been fantastic from start to finish in selling my property. After using a competitor last summer and having a negative experience which led to the sale falling through, I was quite nervous putting it back up for sale. From Luke coming to value it, to Pav doing the viewings and keeping me updated, to Ian completing the sale every single one has been brilliant. The fee is slightly higher than some others, however it was worth every penny and they managed to sell it for asking price despite the market coming down. I would 100% use them again and would recommend anyone else to too. Thank you to the whole team!

Appalling Experience with Cheltenham Branch

Appalling estate agent. Would not recommend. Went to view a house and they forgot the key, then we rearranged and they forgot the appointment and then tried to push us back further to view the house when we were first to view it originally! Then when we went in for a mortgage advisor appointment there, they were discussing the house we had put an offer on in front of us and saying “it’s estimated value of what they can get if it’s done up”and then booking a viewing for another client after having that conversation in front of us! They then never phoned us to tell other people have bided on the house until we phoned them and it was too late to counter offer. Then we never heard anything until they sold it. DO NOT RECOMMEND SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!

Love this agency! Relocated to Leamington to find the town center location so competitive for renters. The dedicated team arranged a viewing on the Easter Friday which allowed me to make a decision and application as soon as possible without being delayed by the Easter holiday. Thee lady showed me the flat was definitely expert, knowledgable and even gave me decoration tips for the flat. It definitely gave me a lot of ease on mind. Would recommend it to anyone! Tried to look at a property, offered two and a half days in the week, and they had noone available to show me the property. Tried with the next week, same availability, still no one available. If you are marketing your property with them, and wonder why it is not selling, it's because it is impossible to view with them!! I'd chose another agent!

SOLD THE WRONG HOUSE!!!

My daughter was buying her first house, a new build and RA Bennetts, Evesham were the appointed agents. Firstly, they didn't like the fact that we appointed our own mortgage adviser rather than use theirs, but I have NEVER experienced this..................they sold us the WRONG HOUSE!!! Yep we viewed the same house twice, and were shown the show home....never did anyone ever tell us we weren't buying that plot but the house next door instead. It got to the solicitor stage before it was picked up. Having looked through the windows of the house she WILL purchase (still to be finished) The kitchen spec is different, the tiles are different, the layout is in reverse. We've never been inside the house that she will ultimately own!

Can highly recommend Emma and the team at R A Bennett at Stratford. They went above and beyond what we could expect from an estate agents in pushing through our sale and purchase. The process was fraught as our buyers and our buyers buyers were with Purple Bricks. If there is one thing I've learned from this process it is that if you have a prospective buyer with Purple Bricks for your property DO NOT accept their offer if you want a smooth transaction. Emma and your team you are worth every penny we will be paying you for your services.
