If we could give more than 5 stars we would. We bought through Fine and Country Ware and Richard Cartwright was amazing. He recommended we look at a property that we hadn't originally considered, and his judgement was perfect...the house was eveything we wanted and more. Not only did he help us with our purchase but he also advised us hugely with selling our property where our agents were sadly lacking. It wasn't the easiest of moves due to others in the chain, but at all times Richard was supportive, helpful, tenacious in moving things forward, kind and reassuring (and very very patient!). We are finally in our perfect property and whilst we have no intention of moving for a very very long time, if we had to, Richard would be the agent we would turn to. Excellent, responsive and helpful throughout the whole process from initial marketing to completion I must admit, when we first put our house on the market (an older character property, with its fair share of quirks), we initially used a certain colourful online agent, thinking "all you need is to have your house on RightMove". How wrong we were. After three months and not a single viewing, we went to Fine and Country Ware. They were excellent from the word go. They arranged exceptional photography, and liaised with us through the process of selecting the photos, fine tuning the description and finalising the brochure layout - offering advice but also letting us have our say. Within the first fortnight of the house going back on the market, we had several viewings - one of whom was very keen to buy the house. This prospective buyer was at very early stages of their house sale, so Darren at Fine and Country continued to work hard securing further viewings and keeping us informed of progress on all fronts, ensuing that we continued to receive viewings. Once the buyer was firmed up, we realised just how important it is to have a good agent. The support and advice we received from Darren and everyone else at Fine and Country continued right through to exchange and completion - always available to take our calls, and always calling back when they said they would. I was impressed at how Darren's colleagues also knew the details of our house and where we were in the process, so it always felt that you were being looked after, even if Darren was out of the office when we called. Particularly for us, having not moved house for many years, and in a slightly uncertain housing market, this level of service and guidance was invaluable - the time between agreeing and accepting an offer and the exchange of contracts was a particularly nervy time, due to no fault of our buyer or Fine and Country, but solely to problems further down the chain. We would wholeheartedly recommend Fine and Country, who at all times acted in our best interests but also worked well with our buyer, other agents within the (extensive) chain and the relevant solicitors, making the selling experience a positive one.
