They quickly sourced a good quality, trustworthy tenant for us and also achieved a fair market rent for our property. All the admin was via DocuSign so a very easy process. GoogleWe used Green & Co to market our property as slightly apprehensive first time landlords. They were helpful at all stages and we secured a tenant on the second day after advertising the property for let. They did all the legal work securing a tenant, setting up a contract and auditing the property. GoogleAs a cash buyer, an offer was submitted verbally and in writing to Green & Co. of the guide price for a property they were marketing. I never hear back from them, not even to say that another offer had been selected over mine. Not even a courtesy email, the service is very poor. Even if they had the perfect property for me, I would walk away if it was being sold via Green & Co. Sellers, there are more professional organisations out there, I cannot recommend this organisation (I have no affiliation to any other agents, that is just my opinion as a purchaser).NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleConsistently realistic appraisals of property across my 20 year association with this fabulous, independent company. Everyone has been dedicated to finding the very best fit between landlord and tenant as well as buyer and seller. My rental property was occupied permanently for the 20 years I owned it and brilliantly managed by Green & Co for all of that time; they dealt with everything. Similarly the sales team were sensitive, patient and just lovely people! Certainly the most professional service and accurate communications I have had from an estate agent ever. GoogleOverall my experience with Green & Co. was not fantastic, the main issue that I felt with the company was that they are not prepared or used to dealing with young adults looking to rent with other young adults. It was clear that their primary client is one of a family. I found some staff to be quite patronising when talking to me about the property as if I was a child, and didn't understand what I was getting into. Perhaps they should understand that many people in their mid-twenties have had multiple experiences with renting and do in fact know what is required from a tenant. Of particular note is when I was first liaising with the company before having been accepted the property. Me and the other tenants entered the office of the company to deliver proof of ID among other things, prior to signing the agreement. The attitude shown at this stage by the staff was shocking as we were actually ignored by most of the staff on arrival, not many people looked us in the eye, nobody welcomed us to the company or introduced themselves, many not looking up from their desks. Likewise when we were leaving the office, I distinctly remember making an effort to thank the staff and say goodbye, to which I was met with silence. I believe this was due to our age and not appearing to be a typical client or tenant. This may feel quite minor however it set a negative tone and image of the company which I struggled to shake afterwards. The year I spent with the agency did not provide any evidence to the contrary and therefore explains my two-star review.
Wow, that has devastated the team to receive your review Alex. They all pride themselves on looking after everyone who they deal with and we are really sorry that you felt so strongly to leave these comments. I would really like the opportunity to talk to you about your visit back in May/ June 2018 but it may be difficult to look into it in any great depth given the time that has now passed. The busy open plan office on the ground floor is not ideal for meeting everyone but I hope that you were dealt with professionally and efficiently by whichever one of the Lettings Team looked after you. We do have a very detailed and thorough process/ duty of care for all potential future tenants but clearly we failed somewhere if this came across in any way patronising. GoogleWe were tenants with Green and Co acting as the agents for 2 years. We ended the tenancy and were treated disrespectfully, as if we were children. We felt the agent was trying to pressure us into agreeing an unfair proportion of the deposit to be given to the landlord and she was not professional and made consistent mistakes. Would not recommend this estate agents for rental in the future.NegativeProfessionalism
It is always uncomfortable having to pass on the news from the inventory company that a property has not been returned to the landlord up to the expected standard. We understand that you have used the TDS arbitration service that is available to all tenants and landlords and we hope that you are satisfied with their conclusion.
