Best lettings agent experience

Yesterday, myself and my housemate had been doing a long day of unsuccessful viewings. After feeling very defeated, I got a call from Savills where I spoke with Nikita. It was almost 6pm and she offered to let us view a property around the corner to where we currently were. We loved the house so much and put in an offer straight away!!If it wasn't for Nikita being so lovely and accommodating we wouldn't have had the chance to see this property and get an offer in, in the nick of time.Thank you so much Nikita!!

Savills agents harassing buyers ignoring questions asked

I dealt with Mandy White at Savills Nightingale Lane. House sellers. Be aware! Aggressive estate agents habitually harassing potential buyers without any intention to facilitate communications or unblock buyers' questions DISGUST buyers and DRIVE THEM AWAY.It's common sense estate agents only care about their own commission but Mandy White really takes it to a whole new level:1. Aggressive HARASSING WITHOUT PROVIDING INFO: I had almost 3 weeks of crazy emails/calling every single day yet NOT responding to my questions about the property & missing important documentation. She was chasing me to pay for survey while key information was missing and she was the one who should chase the sellers. Turns out she did not care about my questions till I made it clear this blocks the situation then she started doing her job. 2. Nonsensically SABOTAGING AN AGREED SALE that almost came to the end: My searches were done and I paid for my own survey scheduled in 3 weeks. She tried to force me to use her survey providers saying if I stick with my survey provider they will put the flat back on market. So they did.Putting the property back on market AFTER I paid for searches & survey?? This is nonsensical. No new buyer will proceed quicker than my process in its final stage.Frankly she has been such a nightmare that not having to deal with her anymore started to sound pretty good to me. Living in that property may remind me of just how much harassing I had to go through to find my home!My first flat viewing was in 2014 and just when I finally thought I found the right place with search results coming out fine, Mandy White is making it unnecessarily difficult just because I want to use my survey provider recommended by my trusted friends. I not only wonder what kind of estate agents she is but also what kind of human being she is.Sellers, you want smart estate agents who know how to facilitate communications and unblock situations. AVOID the harassing/sabotaging type like Mandy White.

Huge thanks to Ruaraidh and Sandra in the Angus office. We had made the mistake of first trying a generic estate agency firm in order to potentially save some money in selling out property which simply resulted in two months of frustration and angst. Changing to Savills was transformational. At the first meeting it was clear that the knowledge and experience about how best to market our property and how be best to approach the sale was on a different level. The result was a feeling of confidence that we were in professional hands. The bonus of an early sale was obviously welcome.

TESSA THE SUPER STAR

Savills were an amazing agent to deal with, especially our super star agent Tessa. From first dealing with Tessa it was easy. We had a long, and difficult sale but Tessa was patient, persistent and more than anything positive. She was incredible at communicating on all aspects (she set up an WhatsApp group which was perfect) she offered guidance and advice when needed. Out of all agents we have ever dealt with she was the most humble, friendliest and also relatable (where similar ages so maybe that’s why). She also came to see us on the day of completion, ensured everything was as it should be. She was FANTASTIC, I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

Great experience with Savills Stamford

We had a very successful and enjoyable experience working with Victoria, Charlotte and the whole Savills Stamford team in the sale of our home. They did an excellent job from the start with pricing, marketing, coordinating viewings and, very soon after, managing the bidding process. Once we had accepted an offer, Victoria and the team worked very hard to manage the process to exchange and completion, diligently following up with the buyer's agent and solicitor to ensure that the chain was moving and working closely and cooperatively with our solicitor when needed. Sale of flat

I recently exchanged on the sale of my flat with the assistance of savills mayfair with the help of Claire Reynolds who is head of that office and Kitty Halley also from that office. Kitty was my point person and Claire was always there to assist me as well should I need some re assurance. Having this "team" with me was very calming and efficient - and I can say that the team were faultless and I have been working in the property world for many years as an advisor to clients so that is saying something. As my day to day contact I found Kitty to be :Efficient Compassionate Always available and if not able to answer would always call me back Honest and she had the ability to tell me as things were rather than say what I may have wanted to hear Extremely hard working In short I'm not sure I could ask for more from the whole agency experience - Kitty was a tremendous person to have on my side and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Tom Willing is fantastic

Tom Willing has been fantastic, and I'm delighted he was the agent for a flat I bought in May 2022. I was focused on one property, but Tom made sure I compared the market by looking at other options, and this was appreciated. The 'making an offer' process wasn't stressful, and I felt very comfortable based on Tom's professionalism. Tom's replies to emails have always been thoughtful, complete and progress the purchase. I was a complicated buyer, an overseas resident wanting to purchase a flat for personal use (not BTL). Not a typical transaction. Tom suggested both a specialist mortgage broker and a local solicitor, and both have delighted to no end. The broker locked in a 5-year deal at a ridiculously low rate whilst managing the approval process patiently. The solicitor's attention to detail and thoroughness made me wonder about the recovery they make, given they charge such a modest fee. I have worked with others in these fields before - none are like those Tom suggested. The deal would have fallen over had Tom not suggested both of these people (after my efforts objectively lacked grunt). Tom's invaluable experience and focus on successful outcomes is something you don't find often. The experience with Tom and Savills, in general, has been excellent, and I now understand why the company has the reputation it does.

Sale of Flat in Battersea

We worked with Tessa on the sale of our flat and she was great. Exceptional service throughout the sale

From our first meeting with Savills team (Andrew, Sofia and Anna) the service has been exceptional. Andrew and Sofia demonstrated an in-depth udertsanding of the market and outlined a sales and marketing approach. Sofia managed the whole selling process and after one weekend of viewings we had over 20 prospective buyers. Within a week multiple offers were received and the sealed bid process concluded. We were very happy with the price achieved (20% over the asking price).The sales process was managed by Anna, who followed through with every detail. Anna was always available, kept us informed and chased up buyers, solicitors and other agents to ensure exchange. Anna went the extra mile to ensure obstacles were removed to ensure we got to exchange.
