We used James Pendleton to purchase our first home, our experience with them was horrendous. As we purchased a property off-plan, we relied on the estate agent to provide us with accurate information. Instead, he sent us specifications for other flats, misled us, and told us certain items were included in the purchase of the flat, only to later find out they weren't. The sales agent failed continuously to advocate for our needs and provided us with false information on more than 5 separate incidents.When we reached out to them about our concerns, they dismissed our claims and shifted all the blame elsewhere, taking no accountability or responsibility for what their misinformation cost us, inferring we were "high maintenance" as we worked hard to make sure everything was fair and correct.We're now using the Property Ombudsman to manage the situation.

Never ever consider signing up to an agreement with these cowboys. I entered into a 2 year fixed term with them, unfortunately with COVID my situation changed and I needed to get out the contract early. They are now trying to charge me the full commission payable to the landlord for the full term! despite the fact that they will be used to get new tenants and as such will secure commission there. Disgraceful practice from a large company and this will be contested to the highest levels where needed
