Foxtons can't seem to answer simple enquiries about a property - for example "how long is the leasehold" or "what are the service charges". Instead their focus is on gaining as much information about the person inquiring as possible. Ie they have more interest in adding to a dataset of potential buyers and marketing themselves than in answering a simple enquiry. I certainly wouldn't sell with them given how they prioritise themselves over the sellers interests..... of course all this is in the guise of "customer service" but it's not really is it? It's blatant marketing and self promotion.

nightmare agents. do yourself a favour and use a different one. these are the guys who give estates agents their bad name. its been almost 2 months since i completed and they still havent given me the full set of keys or removed furniture as promised. i dealt with jordan at the temple fortune branch and every day he has a new excuse. they dont respond to messages or phone calls and provide a truly awful service. there are plenty of other good agents around who provide a much better service.

They take the money and then abandon their landlords. Do not rent a property with these agents as there is no customer support or response. I have had a couple of issues and queries - I have had to ring several times with long wait times and email multiple times for a response, still waiting three weeks later. They never reply or respond costing me hours of wasted time and stress.

He is very professional and proactively in handling with the requests and issues regarding the tenant & property management. He always responds to my enquiries promptly and provides valuable advice.

My review only refers to Nikita Harper from Foxtons Letting Support Department, who called me today to help me resolve several issues with my logging in to my Foxtons Account. She was helpful, courteous, and followed up on our conversations. I have nothing good to say about the rest of the Foxtons team, including people at the Head Office, who were not only unhelpful, but kept on transferring my call to other people in the Foxton organisation, who were of course not at their seats, but "please leave a message and I will get back to you". I wasted well over an hour of my time today on the phone trying to get Foxtons support to resolve a problem they have created.

Absolute scam of a company. I’ve never gone to a Foxtons viewing where the property was as advertised - e.g. they say it’s a 5 minute walk from the station and it ends up being a 20 minute walk. They’ll do anything to get you through the door of a property, in the hope that you’ll somehow fall in love with the Godforsaken place once you get there. It’s a bit like how men all say they’re 6’0 on dating apps and then hope that their mediocre personality will win you over when you realise they’re 5’9 in person. Also, if you give your number to one office, be prepared to have endless phone calls for the rest of your life. I once had 10 phone calls in one day from different offices I wasn’t registered with, all asking if I would like to register with them. This morning I’ve had four offices call so far and it’s only 11am. If you don’t pick up the phone, they just immediately call back - very convenient if you’re in a meeting or on another call. This is despite the fact that I have asked them to remove my number from their database. And they all have different numbers so blocking one does nothing, and you don’t know if it could be someone else calling so you inevitably have to pick up just in case. So basically, sign up for Foxtons if you want to be pestered for the rest of your life by absolute crooks!! How fun!!

I use Alycia Levy as my property manager and have done so for several years and she is excellent, always going above and beyond. She is responsive, knowledgeable, providing excellent customer service and I am not sure what I would have done without her as she is always gets things sorted and organised and keeps me updated.

Absolutely terrible experience as a tenant. Apartment put on the market for sale and I had to suffer through six months of viewings although my contract did not stipulate this. Very inconsiderate and once I gave notice to move out the property was immediately put on the market for a higher rent. Agents come for viewing with no notice and have no respect. Several deductions taken from deposit creating various inane reasons . Avoid at all costs.

Non-existent communication. Viewings done by an unprepared team: didn't know level of service charge, exposure, if the appliances were new or not, size of the flat or rooms. One claimed we had replaced the kitchen (we hadn't), another that the Hue Lights we installed were staying in the flat for the buyer (we never said that).

We listed our house with foxtons and the service has been abysmal. There’s been next to no effort or movement with trying to sell the house, no communications with any options etc. You get an account online which shows upcoming viewings - almost all viewings ‘booked’ haven’t actually happened and they don’t contact us to confirm it either. You expect a lot from an estate agent with their level of commission - dont bother.

GoogleSophie at the Earlsfield office couldn't have been more helpful! My wife and I were starting our search for property in the area, but didn't have much of an idea about the local market. Sophie was a fountain of knowledge, gave us loads of advice at every step and put us in touch with contacts at various Foxtons branches to make sure we had all the options and guidance laid out! Make sure to touch base with Sophie if you're buying or selling in the area!

I have to say that lately the market is crazy, expenses rent and low quality houses, and the agent are not professional at all. Finally today I found Muhammad on my way, this guy rocks, professional, clear, no waste of time and the quality of the properties is fair compering with the rent they are looking for. GoogleI just wanted to thank Frank Wilson and the team at Foxtons Earlsfield for getting the sale of our house finalised. We had given up any hope of selling the property for a reasonable price by the time we came to you, having had two large agents fail to generate any interest. We decided to market through Foxtons with a belief that we would end up taking it off the market at Christmas and then looking at trying again in Spring. To secure an acceptable offer within a few weeks was beyond our wildest dreams and a tribute to your selling power and the wide reach of Foxtons. Your support through the final negotiations was also really helpful and I think we have arrived at an optimal solution all-round. Great job!.

used to be good but ever since the intro of the renters rights acts, property management service has dropped off a cliff. This bad for landlords because they get poor management, bad for tenants because they get poor representation, and bad for the industry because estate / letting agents are no longer accountable.

If you are a renter, please do not use Foxtons. They are a scammy horrible company that only serves the interests of the landlord. They rented us an overpriced disgusting dump by using old out-of-date photos in the rental ad, and locked us into an abusively restrictive contract that made it impossible to leave the horrible dump that ruined my mental health. Do yourself a favour and stay away from these money hungry scammers.

Extremely poor experience with Foxtons. We were left without proper cooking facilities for 25 days, which had a major impact on our daily life and forced us to spend extra money on food. A functioning cooker is a basic part of any home, yet this was not handled with the urgency it deserved.
