Overall positive experience of using Dexters. Natasha and her team have been very good in managing the property.I have deducted 1-star due to inconsistencies between letting teams - One office forced us (renters) to pay 1 months worth of early-termination fees on the contract despite the rent going up considerably. I understand this is well within their rights but with another office I (Landlord) was told that Dexters would waive the fees for my outgoing tenant who was leaving with 1 month left on the contract so felt slightly cheated!

I hired Dexters a few months back initially for selling my property. I worked with Michael Ford and Margaux, they were amazing in getting things set up and truly professional. Unfortunately due to the current climate it was difficult to sell at what I would have liked. We then decided that renting out my property would be the best option for me. The transition from sales to letting was seamless. Again the team I worked with in lettings were amazing from Hannah and Tiana with getting the negotiation sorted and Alice, Annie and Emanuel with managing the the whole process. They were able to find me the right tenants in an orderly timeframe and made the whole experience good. Will definitely recommend Dexters Tooting team. Thanks guys!!

Dexters were very helpful and easy to deal with, and they seemed to have a really wide and varied selection of properties (it sounds like an obvious requirement for an estate agent, but not every agent has got the memo!) Charlotte Brown was my initial, main contact, and she was lovely - patient, personable and knowledgeable. I also dealt with a few other agents, all of whom were easy and pleasant to deal with. In the end, I decided to look in a different area, so I did not get to experience their service through the buying process, but I was impressed with their professionalism, and will definitely consider using them to sell my current property when the time comes.

Myself and my partner were looking for our first property & worked with Charlotte. From the outset Charlotte understood the brief, showed us a range of great homes, and acted as great advisor when we chose to put an offer on our ideal property. While the process took time between parties, Charlotte was always the voice of truth - guiding us with each step & proactively pushing to resolve any issues or complications. They have been extremely helpful, especially as the market has been through such a difficult time with the ever rising mortgage rates. Charlotte has had lots of contact with the buyers & has been of invaluable assistance to me. Contracts have just been exchanged & Completion is in a couple of days. Though I’ve never met either Alice or Charlotte face-to-face, I feel they are friends. It’s been a stressful business, but they’ve eased it considerably. It was great from the start from meeting Gaz and the initial viewing & valuation you felt that you were getting the best possible service and the friendliest team. Onwards to the viewings and all of the staff were great with appointments and communication, particularly Alice who was fantastic throughout. The exchange/completion process was also handled very well with our Sales Progressor Garry handling the whole situation brilliantly. When I rented my property from Dexters, Annie, the agent who had helped me with my find was great. She was very patient and showed me a number of places that she felt might suit. I was very happy at the flat I had rented, but moved out recently when I was able to purchase a property of my own. Then when I moved out, Hannah was helpful in arranging a suitable moving out date that would suit both the landlord and my own arrangements. Since then however it has proved very difficult to get my original deposit back. Having accepted it would take a month from when I moved, I then expected to receive the payment very quickly, which it has actually taken 2 months. Edit to add: - Annie has now stepped in and thankfully managed to arrange the return of my deposit. To be clear, the team in the Tooting office have been great. It's a pity the other team dealing with return of deposits hasn't followed their example. If I was in the same situation again I would definitely ask Annie, or one of the other agents, to help put things right.

The team at the tooting branch were excellent. We dealt mostly with Charlotte, who from the very beginning was helpful and efficient. She really listened to our requirements and took on board our feedback as viewings progressed. She made a daunting experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. As the purchase progressed Garry was also on hand to ensure our solicitors were kept on track and were communicating with the seller's. I imagine the tooting team are extremely busy and deal with many different clients daily, which sometimes can leave people feeling like they are one of many. But this really isn't the case with tooting team - they managed to us keep well informed, well looked after and provided a tailored service. I would 100% recommend.

It was fantastic dealing with both Charlotte and Garry throughout our experience in buying a home through Dexter's, Tooting. With the chaos of working with what seemed like hundred of agents during the house hunt, we eventually only dealt with Charlotte because we felt as though she had a real desire to help us find what we wanted...and it worked! I have a property background so have high expectations and they didn’t disappoint . Gaz was professional and incredibly knowledgeable from the first valuation meeting through to the completion of the sale. A total cowboy outfit. I offered on a property which was accepted only to be told 2 days later they had a better off so unless i offered my best and final it will go to the new person. During the repair process of a side gate, Idis Plaatjies at Dexter was very helpful in calling me to keeping me update throughout the whole process from start to finish. The performance of any company is defined by the performance of their employees. I didn't have great experience with Dexters to be honest initially. But since Danilo has become the property manager, everything is super smooth. Danilo is extremely professional, polite and considerate towards tenant's needs. So prompt in responding to emails and not missing any point. His communications skills are great plus he is easily approchable. He makes sure that your issues/questions are resolved and follows up on it. He is honestly the best broker I have ever dealt with. Dexters need to re-examine their staff and need to hire more leads like Danilo in order to stand out in the market. Excellency at the peak, thank you!
