Great service and communication

During our 2 year tenancy the property we lived in was managed by Dexters property management, the staff were always polite, friendly and helpful. Whenever there were issues with the property, we were able to reach someone who was able to provide assistance. Nikki Harris was managing the property we lived in, the five of us who lived there would like to thank her in particular for her consistent help and advice throughout the tenancy, she has always been massively helpful regarding any issues or questions we've had. For a few of the people living in the property this was their first time renting, Nikki always took the time to explain things clearly and in a way that helped us to understand how issues were being dealt with. Any issues with the property were always addressed as quickly as they could be and we always felt in safe hands. Many thanks

We have worked with Dexters since 2019 and are landlords of one property. There have been ups and downs with tenants and we have found a way through working together. Having a key contact who is readily available is most helpful, particularly when there are tricky minutiae to deal with. We have worked with several members of staff in this capacity over the years; always seeking to be helpful and supportive. The level of professionalism has generally been high. Currently, Sherina Downes is our point of contact; she is excellent and deserves five stars on her own. Great communication and sees things through.

Viraj based in the property management team in Loampit Vale is so proactive and on the ball. He gets things done and sorted and always knows the right people to contact. He is an excellent communicator and is always transparent. He is professional and friendly too. He is a fast responder and always ensures he follows up to make sure everything is ok. I couldn’t recommend Dexters highly enough. From valuation to completion, the team were communicative, realistic, and incredibly supportive. My flat went live on a Tuesday evening and was sold by Wednesday lunchtime, a testament to the teams efficiency and understanding of the market. Throughout the process, they managed my stress levels with a very pushy buyer, keeping everything on track and as smooth as possible. Nataly Rincon-Henao was instrumental in keeping the chain stable, providing regular updates, and going above and beyond to handle some complex leaseholder administration. Even after the sale, Michael Ford has continued to offer valuable advice on a future project, despite it being with another agency, which really speaks to his professionalism and genuine care for clients. I’m truly grateful to Dexters for selling my flat. I didn’t really want to sell after only just finishing a full renovation, but they made the process bearable and secured a great price, allowing me to move forward with another bigger house project in the area I love.

Monika has been managing my flat for rent for the last year or so. She has always been friendly, responsive and proactive, communicated regularly by email and by phone and I have been able to feel the flat is in good hands. Unfortunately I had a leak at my flat which I let out through Dexters. Monika has been incredibly efficient in resolving this - chasing the managing agent to find the cause of the leak, following up and arranging for it to be fixed and then looking into redecoration which needs to be claimed on the buildings insurance, as well as liaising with and reassuring the tenant and keeping me informed. She has been a pleasure to deal with and I am really impressed by her efficiency, reliability and tenacity.

Recently I had an issue with an appliance at one of my rented properties, Nabil Subhani dealt with back and forth between his maintenance team, the tenant, the insurance company and directly with me. In all the time. Dealing with the matter, Nabil was responsive to all matters in an extremely efficient and timely way. His communication was clear and to the point and the matter was progressed efficiently despite the fact that that too many people were involved he stayed at the centre of communicating with all parties concerned.

Very sloppy service from Dexters

Very sloppy service from Dexters. Missing attachments to emails, forgetting to send information, incorrect information was sent.At check-in, they didn't even give us the right keys.... Sloppiness was a constant through the process....The house was very very dirty, despite it should have been professionally cleaned by contract. There was mold, dust, dead insects.... Lots of furniture was broken or not fixed. We are not sure if the landlords were informed at all at this point.Another red flag is that the agents try to lock tenants in very long contracts, a new trend with many companies. They didn't pressure as much as others, but still, they create this constant sense of urgency for the tenants.... then they disappear for days and need constant follow-ups.Do not recommend.

Just had to write this review as Dexters Tooting have been amazing from start to finish in a lengthy buying process. Their outstanding team was always professional yet friendly and approachable too. Initially I mainly dealt with Michael, the manager, who was easily contactable and helpful. Then as the sale proceeded Nataly took over as liaison. Nataly not only guided me through the sale but drove it forward, without her I don’t believe it would have continued to fruition. In a bid to keep things moving Nataly proactively approached issues raised, I didn’t have to work out the way forward when a problem occurred as Nataly was already on the case and would discuss with me how to overcome it. If I called or emailed her I’d get a rapid response with a clear outcome. Nataly really does have a positive ‘can do’ approach and it was an absolute pleasure to deal with her. Thank you Nataly for all your hard work.

Have just sold my flat for full asking price with the Tooting team - very happy! And have purchased my next property through Dexters too. Really professional service throughout from the initial calls with Gaz, to the walkthrough with multiple agents to fully get to know the property, to the great photos taken, to the great marketing efforts and many many viewings, to getting it over the line and getting the sale done. The commission isn’t the cheapest or most expensive, but what Dexters have is a huge customer base and they ultimately will find you the right buyer. I also recommended a friend to them during my process who has also sold for a great price. Worth every penny and many thanks to Gaz, Michael, Felix, Luke, Tim, George, Kheira, Aaron and Nataly (and many others I’ve forgotten!) for a great team effort. I will definitely be a return customer.

Proactive communication and empathy

Proactive communication, empathy and transparency are three core values I have seen demonstrated at Dexters. I have rented a home through them for nearly two years, and they have stood out as property managers that actually care. Most recently, Daragh Power has impressed me with their kindness and genuine care. I had two requests of the landlord, one that would require a change to my contact, and Daragh was AMAZING at listening to my needs, understanding the time sensitivity and following up with the landlord when we didn’t receive a response right away. They could have deprioritised my concerns or have gotten upset with my persistence but instead they understood where I was coming from and really advocated for me. This is exactly what one would want from a property manager, but is something I find is rare, especially in a ‘landlord market.’ Daragh communicated professionally throughout and made the entire process stress free. I wouldn’t choose another property manager besides Dexters.
