Carter Jonas took over my rental flat from Touchstone. They were impossible to get hold of and our letting agent NEVER answered her phone. We were paying for another one of their flats gas and electric for 2 YEARS and received no help whatsoever and resorted to contacting our MP. We gave notice to move out on the day rent was taken and was told that if I’d informed them 9 hours earlier it would have been a months notice, but as I informed them on the day the rent came out they made me pay for 2 more months. The fire alarm rang for 48 hours leaving the large fire windows open in the block and they refused to help as it was a weekend, during the winter! The 6 flats froze and was a huge health and safety issue! The communal bin shed was a hazard and despite going out and cleaning it myself by hand we were still sent threatening emails stating that we’d (the block of flats) all be charged for bulky waste disposal if it wasn’t cleared. I’ve now not lived there for 2 months but I’m being made to pay the gas and electric usage from between leaving and the new tenants moving in. We were not sent the cleaning report from when I moved in ready for our inspection until after it had been done so we were left to pay excessive cleaning fees despite the flat being freshly painted and beautifully maintained. They don’t care about you as people, they are only concerned about money, a very cold company. Overall an awful experience and would strongly advise any prospective tenants to avoid this company.

Avoid avoid avoid do not rent from this agency, they do not do repairs, they give you false promises to redecorate. Me and my two children lived in my opinion unreasonable conditions for two years and because I complained I was left fighting to get my deposit back, I can honestly say I would rather live on the streets before I would use this agency again. I owed my own properties before my personal circumstances forced me to look at rentals, I wouldn't even use them to rent my own property in the future. Stay clear!!

My overall experience with Carter Jonas has been great. Maddy in particular has been a huge help and with whom I’ve had the most correspondence. She is quick to respond to your queries and find a resolve to any issues. My relationship with Carter Jonas started in April 22 where they helped me to get the flat of my dreams at the time! The process was quick and simple and I cannot thank them enough. Sadly my tenancy has come to an end due to the landlord selling, however, Carter Jonas has been a huge help (AGAIN) in helping me with the move! I highly recommend this Agency. If you’re thinking about using them, do it!!

From gathering a great set of prospective tenants to the final family who have rented our home, Aileen and here team have given us peace of mind - at a very decent price! From prompt collection of rent to quick response to maintainance requests, it's been a breeze. I'd recommend them to any prospective landlord.

GoogleIn the final steps of moving in, I popped in to the Carter Jonas offices last week to get my passport photocopied. During this process, I had a jokey chat with an extremely helpful lady about Google Reviews and how often people praise their Negotiator Izzie in these things. It's not difficult to understand why. I've dealt with multiple estate agents in the past, and whilst all are professional, courtesy and helpful, it's difficult not to come to the conclusion that they are there to make the sale and that your happiness and satisfaction is secondary to their personal financial game. Izzie isn't like this. Izzie comes across as an honest, caring individual who has the #1 priority of ensuring that tenant and landlord are completely happy and satisfied with everything. She is not afraid to offer her honest opinions about a property and if she does not feel the property is right for you, she will tell you as such. Thanks to Izzie, my young family (we have a 1 year old) have now moved in to an amazing new house and we couldn't be happier. Izzie is a credit to Carter Jonas, and if the rest of the staff there are anywhere near as helpful as she is, then they are on to a winner. GoogleMine must be a more unusual experience. Firstly, I had been a landlord of properties for many years, that were rented, managed and finally sold by Carter Jonas. So I knew the team. Secondly, I was renting following major surgery, so my energy levels were low and I didn't move into the flat for some days after the tenancy had started. In my situation, when my health was more important than anything else, both Lvizzie and Fiona went out of their way to help me get all the documentation signed, including those signed on line. Oh how I prefer the old quill pen, when one was able to put pen to paper and your signature looked like your signature! Would I recommend them ? Terrible communication. Do not action what there customer has agreed with them. Do what they want to do after telling them and agreeing next steps. Really late at returning your deposits and holding on to your money. Lack of communication and waiting days if not weeks for responses. Always say call back and don't. If you have an issue with your property the emergency out of hours phone line will not answer there phones. Don't compensate you for having to leave the property due to flooding and boiler blowing up and having to stay in hotel. You may want to seek another estate agent.

Having used Carter Jonas for a few years renting out my property, I've now changed and would never go back to them. I've had poor service consistently especially when a tenant checks out. The diligence and attention is woefully lacking. Keys lost, damage not logged, poor check out service. Tradesmen hired that do a poor job and charge silly money for doing little. Poor monitoring of tenants. Seldom been happy and glad I've switched.

GoogleWe would like to thank Isabelle, Jamie and Janine for an incredible job in selling my grand mothers house in Tooting. Isabelle was the first agent we saw and we had no reason to see anyone else afterwards - we felt she would look after our buyers to a very high standard, as much as us. Jamie made a huge effort in not only securing a lovely buyer for the house but also leading a complex sales progression progress (no fault of Carter Jonas or our buyers) into a completion which was looking very tough at times. I have no doubt that other agents and indeed the internet-based agent crowd would of made a thorough mess of this situation. But not Jamie! We also used a decorator recommended by Carter Jonas who also did the correct job at the correct budget for us. We have no hesitation in recommending Carter Jonas to anyone in the area and if the situation arises, would love to work with them again.

From the start dealing with Chattie who did the initial house viewing with us to then dealing with Izzie who facilitated the offer and lease.
