Manaan was rude and unprofessional. Couldn’t even make up his mind through his emails. First told us there was a deadline to send forms to rent a property at 9am but the agent that did the showing told us to ignore the deadline. When the day came Manaan emailed us at 10:30 asking us how was the property, which we replied saying yes we like it, to get a reply back saying “you missed the deadline but I can put down you liked the property” so I said yes if you can and Manaan said “you’ve missed the deadline there’s nothing I can do” It’s a shame because there’s so many good reviews on here, but we have had a bad experience. May be due to this individual. Couldn’t even professionally write an email when addressing a customer. No support to ask if there’s any other properties we liked. I felt discriminated against because I was pregnant and that may be why he didn’t want to help find us a property even though me and my husband earn well. Really disappointed in this agency, wouldn’t recommend unless you want an unpleasant service.

I did feel a bit pressured by someone else in the team to go with a ‘recommended’ mortgage broker which I refused, so this approach may be worth taking a look at. Thanks to Shah and the team but especially to Katie for helping to sell my flat which had a very short lease. Sale was drawn out and extremely stressful but not through any fault on Central's side. Would recommend Central because they market properties really well, they are able to secure viewings quickly and you can speak to staff directly or via email. What happens next salewise depends on how good your solicitors/conveyancers are. Fortunately, I used a very good experienced conveyancer who understood the law so coupled with Central it was a winning combination. Top marks to Central. Thank you all.

Helped us rent a flat. The communication and professionalism from Manaan was excellent. We currently are having a great experience with Manaan and the team. Initial review April 2023 Since this review I would not recommend renting through central estates. We have had a number of issue with the property which has made the last 2 months living here very difficult. These issues include damp and mould as well as rats and ants roaming within the property and destroying our personal belongings. Even worse is that when voicing our issues with the property there has been a very negative attitude towards us as tenants and questions being avoided when asking about damp and mould within the property before we moved in (March 23). As well as this there has been no courtesy apology for the current situation of rats freely roaming our kitchen and living room area while we have barricaded ourselves in the bedroom and are having to clean our flat every morning and evening in fear of catching something and becoming ill from the rats.

Martyne Hatton is the manager of the property I've been renting for the past year. If I could give her 1000 stars, I would. She's super communicative, responds in the blink of an eye, always follows up to make sure any maintenance issues are fixed properly and on time, advocates for me, and is a wonderful go-between between myself and the owner of the property. She handles communication between myself and the property owner with ease and never seems flustered. She's even managed works project that affected four flats on our block, and tbh, I hardly noticed the works were happening because she kept things running so smoothly. I'm moving out for reasons unrelated to the property itself (which is lovely!), and one of the saddest parts about it is that I won't get to work with Martyne anymore. If you're reading this and you're her boss, give her a raise. Seriously.
