my property to my buyer, I am so overwhelmed when I had the phone call from my sales professor, Douglas Alan agent, brilliant lady called Chelsey Baldwin.We had stuck through together rough times with delays, uncertainty, rollercoaster emotions, frustration and anger. Chelsey was very supportive, gives advice, opinions, chases throughout the day, weeks, months to update me. Very professional in dealing with solicitors, very sympathetic and understanding to me, I felt like Chelsey was my solicitor at a point as seems like she was doing everything alone! Such a great person, very thankful for all her hard work and deserve a big credit! Much appreciated, good job and well done!

Chadwell Heath Douglas Allen

We decided to buy and sell with Douglas Allen in February 2017. The chadwell Heath office were very helpful and gave us lots of information prior to selling. Unlike other estate agents they did not put lots of pressure on us. As everyone does we shopped around and looked at other estate agents. In December 2016 we were quoted our house was £325,000 by another estate agents. We decided to wait and two months later in February 2017 we decided to sell. When a guide price of £375,000 was set, my husband and I were in shock. That’s a difference of £50,000 in two months. We have a young family so we opted for the Saturday open house and were amazed that we had over 50 people to view the house and had 8 offers all for on or above the guide price. The Douglas Allen website was very useful in showing how many people viewed our property online and feedback of viewings. Our property finally sold at ten thousand above the guide price and we found a very good buyer as the property we were intended to buy required a grant of probate. The staff at chadwell Heath office were amazing in selling our property swiftly. I would personally like to thank Les, Michelle, Michael and Gizem for all there help. Especially Michael who finally sold our property. Thanks you chadwell Heath team! Also, finally I want to mention theSales progressor for our sale, Chelsey Baldwin for all her help as well.You all are a great assets to the Douglas Allen company. Thank you and I enjoy moving into my new home!

Douglas Allen provided and excellent service in selling my property recently. Ray Phipps marketed the property and contacted potential buyers immediately - the property was STC within a few weeks at the asking price! Janine kept me updated throughout the sale and was always willing to chase solicitors on my behalf which was much appreciated.Overall, the whole team at Douglas Allen were helpful and timely in their response to any questions.We have used Douglas Allen before for the sale of property and we would recommend them and use them again.

Douglas Allen in Woodford will get your home sold and they are really good to deal with!

My property had been on the market for two months with an independent estate agent, they were nice people but even after two months, I had no offers despite all of the feedback being really positive. I decided to contact Douglas Allen because I'd heard good things and I can honestly say those good things are true! I met Steve who is one of the Branch Partners and his enthusiasm and genuine commitment and love for his job shines through. He walked into my home and was enthusiastic about selling it and really wanted me to know that I could trust him to do a good job. He was professional and persuasive at all times and he motivates the younger members of his team to be extremely customer focused and enthusiastic too. I got two offers within two weeks of my flat being on the market with Douglas Allen and I have now accepted an offer. Steve has been in communication with me every day and is available by email, phone and text. I also thought it was really good how the sellers online web area is updated regularly. I could see literally minute to minute what the sales team were doing to sell my home and I could see at one glance what the viewers were saying about my home. I was impressed at how diligently this information was kept up to date. Steve also helped me to think through the purchase of my new build property and I really appreciated that too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Steve and his team, they are still there to take care of me until the sale completes and I find this really reassuring.

East Ham Branch - Property Sold Holborn Road, Plaistow E13 8Pb

I was originally going to go with another agency but was stopped in my tracks by what Douglas Allen had to offer. My property was sold in under 2 weeks, I did not expect it to go so quickly and from the beginning to the end Natasha who works at the East Ham Branch kept me updated with the sale process, arranging viewings, open days and keeping me in the loop regarding the feed back. I also had dealt with Andrew from the East Ham branch who was absolutely brilliant, he was so professional and chased up the buyers solicitors, constantly communicating with all involved including our new build and our solicitors. Andrew made the whole transaction smooth and hassle free, taking away my stress and advising me on realistic timescales. The relationship built with him was not only professional but it was also pleasurable to hear his reassuring voice at the end of the phone took the panic out of the experience..I shall miss that voice. I think selling and buying a new house at the same time and being in a chain is stressful enough so you really need to choose your agencies wisely and I have to be honest so that others who have take the time to read my review wouldn't automatically choose the cheapest but choose the best and make sure you understand what you are getting for your money.

Attentive, hard working and honestWe recently completed our purchase through Douglas Allen and we are very happy with the service overall. Andy Dumas understood what we were after and showed us several appropriate properties for our budget and taste. Andy was very attentive and helpful and we would recommend him and DA in general to any prospective buyers. They know the area well and work hard for you. We also were served well by other staff including Greg and Keith who helped push the purchase through as quickly as possible. Picking an estate agent is tough and there are a lot of bad ones out there, but I speak honestly when I say that I did not see anything I didn't like about the way DA conducted its business and I'm very happy with the outcome. Having tried selling with cheaper alternatives and being let down I thought it was time I give Douglas Allen a chance. After months of not selling Daniel really lifted my spirits and presented a strategy to get me moving. My hopes and expectations were set high but true to his word Daniel got me the price he promised (which was actually more than the offers I was getting with cheaper alternatives). We met with a number of agents all offering us a cheaper fee but from the get go we were instantly impressed with Michelle's professionalism, knowledge but most of all her enthusiasm she did an outstanding job. introducing us to a unique selling method called "BEST OFFERS" ensuring us that this would be the best way to sell our home, with superior marketing that would reach the widest audience and achieve the very best price, confirming that it was the final amount we walked away with was the most important thing. Douglas Allen were the only agent who offered this structured style of marketing, it was two open houses and this gave all interested buyers a fair opportunity to submit their best offer. "what a result" multiple sealed bids on the closing day and we ended up achieving a massive £30,000 over the advertised price. This has made a huge difference to our lives, thank god we didn't go elsewhere this could've been the most expensive mistake we would have made.True to their word the excellent service did not stop there, when we signed up we were told by Michelle that once we agreed a sale Chelsey would assist us in getting the sale through. Comb through paperwork and avoid sales pressure techniques employed at this branch; - You do not gain much advantage by buying and selling with the same agent - shop around and be patient with initial delays caused. Any promises that they can speed things through will evapourate as soon as your contract is signed - Avoid the exclusivity clauses that tie you to them for a period of time. They will tell you that it is standard accross the market. It's a lie - Watch the fees like a hawk. Comb through your contract. Most importantly do not fall for the high pressure techniques used where they pressure you to sign contracts there and then. Ignore the nasty "everybody else signs straight away" techniques. Just because DA are a big organisation, the Del Boy tactics are strong ant there is no professional integrity in their sales team. Very disappointed. Came across people who seemed to work hard but the dishonest players in their midst have made me doubt the ethos of the whole company

I found the service from Douglas Allen Pretty good on the whole, Found that the team members Jordan Stoute and Will Nash were excellent. Both were a pleasure to speak to and work with, took away most of the stress of the buying process.The main negative experience is that after having the offer accepted on the house after seeing the house for less than 10mins on the open house day, we were not able to get a second viewing until getting the keys for the property. called on 3 separate occasions to try and arrange, and on no occasion was this arranged or facilitated.

Brilliant service from the word go. Greg at your Woodford office has been a god send. I must have been a pain at times with my phone calls and questions however nothing was ever too much and Greg constantly helped me. He never told me just what I wanted to hear and had an honest and straight to the point approach, at the same time he is charming, welcoming and friendly.The sale may have taken a bit longer to get to exchange once agreed but when it looked as if the house I was buying was about to break down Greg managed to save it.
