I can't speak highly enough of Ammer Haroon from Douglas Allen estate agents in Walthamstow. He really went above and beyond helping with my house sale. I didn't have a great opinion of estate agents before but Ammer was really enthusiastic from the start and got us a quick sale. He came across as professional, transparent and was always available to update me on the progress or answer any questions. We've just exchanged contracts and I couldn't be happier!

Great Service through many challenges

We had a lot of challenges with the chain selling our property but Douglas Allen kept us informed and involved at every step, we got to a successful conclusion and the home we wanted. The customer service through the whole process was superb and took a lot of the stress away from me and my family. Even with the challenges of CoVID 19 we were able to exchange and complete as we came out of lock down.A special thanks to Chelsey Baldwin to keeping us up to date.

We have rented our bungalow out via Douglas Allan, due to covid-19 we did think things would become difficult but Joanna Alexis kept us informed at all times. She found us a great tenant, and ensured everything was sorted in a timely fashion. We received our payment within a couple of days via bank transfer (which is much better than other estate agents who I have used in the past, who used to send me a cheque). Helpful, friendly and informative!

When I got to view the property on Bede Road initially, I wasn't interested as such as I felt it's a property that has a lot of demand and I felt like with the competition I would not be able to win the property. I spoke to Waqas after the viewing and he suggested the VIP home finder service to me, a service where I could get into see properties before they hit the online market and he suggested to meet Faisal Noor, the in house mortgage adviser, once I became a member of the VIP service and saw Faisal to work out my maximum affordability, I made an offer on the property and it got accepted the very same day! I would highly recommend the VIP Home finder Service and would Highly recommend Douglas Allen Chadwell heath! Everything is going through smoothly and we are set to complete on the property very soon.

This will sound like a fake review but it isn't - we had a choice between three different estate agents in Chingford and went with DA based on a recommendation from a friend. Our agent Michael was really positive and we really liked the way he acted too, so it was a pretty easy choice The photos that were taken of our flat were amazing and DA already had a viewing lined up before the flat went on the market - that viewing didn't result in anything but the very next one, on the day the flat went up, resulted in an offer which we eventually accepted. We were on the market for 24 hours. After the offer was accepted, Natasha took over and guided the sale through and was relentless in chasing solicitors and keeping us informed of what was going on, ensuring it went as smooth as possible. 100% recommend.

Chadwell Heath Branch - excellent!From the time we met Michelle we felt we could just relax and let her and her team get on with the sale of our house. We had been with another agency and basically wasted the whole summer. In 3 days Michelle and the Chadwell Heath team booked in 60 viewings for the open day, then sent round 2 agents to greet the viewers while we left them to it. It was amazing, we walked away seeing queues of interested buyers on our drive. We love the online service, you can see the offers coming in and they certainly did, for the asking price and more. Our house sold to a buyer from the open day, basically 3 days to sell it. The team continue to help with regular weekly updates on each stage of the sale process. As we move towards the finish line, a big thank you to Michelle and her sales team plus Charlotte and Tanya for the updates. Have already recommended you to friends and neighbours.

My husband and I cant thank Douglas Allen enough, every one was so helpful, I admit to finding the whole process a bit stressful, however with people such as the wonderful Chelsea Baldwin on your side things were a lot easier. Adam Jabbar, Jo Butler and Dave Tomlins were great as the sales team. Douglas Allen isn't the cheapest in the High St, I'm a firm believer you get what you pay for, the fee was money well spent.... Rude and pushy staff

Dealt with the Saturday team Spencer and Alastair today. Wasted my time in bringing me in to tell me someone had put in an offer of the property I was interested. Rude and Pushy overall wasn’t interesting in showing me property’s unless I went with their mortgage adviser.Think this reply is absolutely ridiculous. There was no need to liar in order to bring in to your office, how does this have a ‘friendly approach’ when your staff are blunt and rude? No other agencies needed to find out if I am in a strong position, as I already had a mortgage in principal set up. This just show how unprofessional and inexperienced your company is!!

We had some very specific requirements about what type of property we wanted and were only interested in certain roads around Upper Walthamstow. Whilst some Estate Agents ignored what we were looking for and would send us all sorts of unsuitable properties. He came well prepared with all the information to back up his claims to make a sale and to make the very best representation of my property. Disgraceful Estate Agent with no shame

In April 2019 a house came up for Sale on Mortlake Road ilford. We went to view the house and absolutely loved it. However.....Douglas Allen ruined EVERYTHING. Because we had a buy to let mortgage we were advised by Nabeel one of the consultants there that due to the property having polystyrene ceilings we were unable to buy it as when it came to valuation it would be a nil valuation. What a lie! I was advised by other agents that that should not have been a reason for me to be turned down. I had everything they required to buy the house...I even used their Solicitor which I was advised by Ali another consultant at Douglas Allen that if I used their solicitor I would be in a better position to buy the house as the sale would go through easily if accepted. My elderly parents loved the house we even put the highest offer as was told by Ali but Nabeel turned us down. He made us run around and gave the house to someone else. I compaoned to them and their senior told me that as the other party had all documents acted 'swiftly' the house was given to them. That is a lie! Simply because on the first viewing as soon as we viewed the house that same day we put offer forward and got our stuff together. They really upset me and my elderly parents. They promise but do not deliver. A bunch of cowboys! We did EVERYTHING they had asked and they turned us down. I think they get joy out of making people run around. They should understand that buying a house is a stressful time and they should help people fulfill buy their dream home not play chess with human lifes!

Would just like to say a big thank you to Keith Langford the sales progresser for Douglas Allen. He made the whole selling and buying experience run so much smoother.
