Friendly and pro-active people

We are currently searching for a family home and people at Douglas Allen Barkingside have been really helpful with this mammoth task. They are keeping us up to date with properties specifically matching our requirements; with special thanks to Ummad, Kailesh and Lynburge as they have been extremely co-operative regarding arranging viewings and responding promptly to any queries. These guys have been pro-active in informing us of any upcoming properties that match our criteria. We are quite hopeful that with help of Douglas Allen we will soon find our dream home.

Beyond expectation

With not so good experiences in the past when it came to purchasing a property, I was apprehensive to try the property ladder again. However, Douglas Allen ilford made things so much easier this time round. In particular Ahsan was very helpful and attentive to what I was looking for. I have just sold my house with douglas allen. I dealt with michelle hawthorn - loughton branch from the beginning. Michelle was extremely informative and professional throughout the process. I had a very slight delay in proceedings due to my buyers, but michelle was straight on the case, taking immediate steps to rectify the situation and kept in contact to reassure me about what she was doing. I am extremely happy with the service provided at douglas allen and would highly recommend. Fantastic support from Barkingside

I have bought more than one house in the past which means I have encountered many estate agents. However my encounter last Saturday with Umad and Kalish was different to previous experiences. My husband had important business to attend to which meant me and my 6 year old son had to catch cabs to our 4 viewings around the area of Barkingside. We travelled in from Islington the weather was poorly we realised that Kalish was going to the same viewings as us and after explaining our situation he kindly offered to drive us around to the viewings with him. This was a life saver and not only that but we met Umad at some of the viewings where there were queues he was thoughtful enough to bring an umbrella and offered it to us and saved my son from the rain. These small details made me change my perspective on the whole industry and reassured me in the fact that there are genuine people in this industry. Both of these two are definitely an asset to the company. I would definitely recommend the Douglas Allen experience to anyone who is looking for a house to buy.

Fantastic service and support - Would Recommend

We evaluated our property with 4 different estate agents and found Douglas Allen the best in terms of their packages they had on offer, professionalism and liked their way of selling the property. We dealt with Shawn Vivian from the East Ham branch. We didn’t have to do much once we went with them. Professional Photographer came to our Flat, took the best pictures possible, within a week the property was on the Market, went for the Open Day viewing option and they managed to get 30+ appointments for the first viewing day. Shawn Vivian and his team were very pro-active in contacting the viewers and asking for their interest in the property and came back to me with best offers. I went with their recommended Solicitors who turned out to be great as well. Once I accepted the offer, staff at Douglas Allen especially Andrew Bilby were very good is contacting and chasing solicitors from both sides, pushing Management Company in providing packs etc. Overall I had a pleasant experience with them and if have to will use them again in the future.

Douglas Allen Barkingside, Truly The Best Agent In Town

Many agents boasted that they had the best staff, best photos and the most buyers. Having decided to sell my property multiple agency and experienced many of the high street agents I can say that Douglas Allen are really the only agent to truly have a proper marketing strategy, offer the best photos and actually have far more buyers than other agents. Daniel Bourne and his team are very proactive and really won't rest until the job is done. I will highly recommend using Douglas Allen and think Daniel Bourne is the most honest agent I have come across with the general mission to help. I would also like to thank Kayleesh who made me feel comfortable and was extremely professional when conducting many of the viewings.

Just wanted too leave a review as I had the best experience when selling my home with douglas allen Barkingside. My agent Lynburge helped me sell my home for the best price possible and was always available when I needed advise or help. Seling my home was a daunting experience for me but Lynburge did an excellent job making this step comfortable and less emotional. From start to end he made selling my home a very easy and relaxed experience. The service was so good that I recommended him to my mother who needed to find a bungalow due to her illness and Lynburge was very fourth coming to help her too and advise her in the right direction. Will Nash has helped me not once but twice to secure a good deal on my mortgage. Despite being turned down by various banks and building societies when applying on my own, Will was able to secure a first time buyer mortgage for me despite my circumstances. Will Nash is an extremely trustworthy and knowledgable mortgage adviser. We were asked to seek his confirmation of affordability when our offer was accepted, and it was to our good fortune that he did. He uncovered some serious flaws in the original advice we were given and significantly changed our approach to funding the purchase, meaning we own more of the property from the outset. Unfortunately we had some issues during the purchase process (through no fault of DA or Will), and he did everything in his power to escalate and push through. Without his support and commitment I'm convinced it would have been a very different outcome. We owe the purchase to Will and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to fiends and family. We will certainly be back when the mortgage is due. In our opinion there's nothing Will doesn't know - he is simply exemplary at his job. It's a god send that we found him!

Having been recommended the mortgage brokerage service at Douglas Allen, I wasn't disappointed. Will Nash was incredibly professional from start to finish, replying quickly to any queries I had and ensuring I got the best mortgage for my situation in life.
