This was my first buy, from the moment I requested to view my house, Leah was great! Very friendly and bubbly, sold the house perfectly!From then with putting the offer through to the seller and all the way through the process, Leah was there to answer any questions, helped push things through. Could not thank her enough! I believe she was new, although didn’t feel like she was! Thank you :)

Had two viewings to see a property in which the women showing us around had no clue about the property and was unable to answer basic questions such as where the boiler is in the house or how old the house was; regardless went ahead and placed an offer through Alison in the jarrow branch which was accepted in which stated email confirmation would be sent which infact was never sent at all; called Allison from the jarrow branch up after confirming deposit funds and proof of solicitors and meetings for mortgage signing and she turned around and states that another offer has been accepted on the house ALTHOUGH this was multiple days after our offer was "accepted"Unorganised and somewhat unpleasant experience, very unprofessional and unfortunately I can only but wish the best for anyone dealing with the jarrow branch as my experience was dreadful due to the fact they think they could take the mick given I was a first time buyer and doubt my seriousness in purchasing a property through them

When we visited the branch in Hexham we were friendly approached and welcomed despite a language barrier we had to deal with as english is not our mothertongue. All our questions were patiently answered and repeated if need be. Although we had one particular person who dealt with our renting situation, the other members of staff in the office were also knowledgable and informed, it seemed the office works together as good team. You could feel it when you walked in.We felt taken seriously, the viewing went well and we had enough time to look around and take our decision. During the waiting time we were informed about the progress of details, which still had to be renovated as the flat was not completely ready yet.After we transferred the money for rent and the papers were signed which was also no problem at all, - it was quick and straight forward, we were handed over the keys. On the day we moved in, I was aware of a water problem, which by lunchtime was already taken care of.I feel in good hands with Pattinsons in Hexham concerning my rental agreement and know I can approach them any time if anything has to be taken care of in the future. I can highly recommend Pattinsons as a state agent in Hexham.

Lisa was our agent at Pattinson. Always available and super helpful. She found us a property and negotiated through a difficult situation. Ultimately we withdrew from the sale having had a completion date changed 4 times by the vendor. We moved from Spain on the strength of the original date. This left us homeless with 5 dogs and furniture in store. Although Lisa was losing a sale she found us a rental with our dogs. This is service beyond reproach. Thank you Lisa for your totally unselfish service. ****XXX I have just noticed a negative review from the vendors partner. Full of untruths and total misconceptions. Despicable to blame the agent for they and their builders fault, which left us homeless and out of pocket by thousands of pounds

Bought a house through Pattinson and dealt with Rachel in the South Shields Branch. Can not praise her (and the other staff) enough. The property was being bought through a third party company with challenging solicitors from both sides. Rachel went above and beyond to ensure the sale was completed on time working with all involved parties. Can't praise the enough - thank you for a great service!!!

Very professional man turned up to value the house and everything was dealt with quickly. When the house was on the market there were several occasions when accompanied viewings were booked and no one turned up including the representative from the estate agent without letting me know. This was very awkward as my niece was renting the property and was rushing in from work and preparing for viewings that didn’t happen. Poor communication. This whole sale experience was a nightmare once we accepted an offer from a property investor. We were told he had a mortgage in principal and was ready to go. We completed all the paperwork from RAW Clark solicitors and returned it the same day. 10 weeks later I contacted the solicitor to find out why it hadn’t heard anything yet. She was very rude saying “ can’t make him buy your house” . Clearly my call prompted her to find your what was going on only to discover that the buyer wasn’t using the solicitor that my solicitor thought they were. I was then asked to deal with the case via Wendy Burbridge from Pattinsons. After a tricky start, Wendy was great chasing things up and trying to move the sale forward. The buyer however was telling her one thing and me another to prolong the sale I felt. In the meantime we were accruing a huge amount of charges in bills and lost rent totalling £2500. Even though Wendy was trying her best, the solicitor was less than effective. I was having to send a lot of emails to chase things up as well as Wendy. At one point I contacted to buyer to find out what the delay was and he told me he was waiting for searches to come back. As I thought this highly unlikely I contacted the land charges department myself to chase them up. She informed me that the searches had only been requested in early October - yet we had started the sale and completed and returned our forms on 18th May. This was very frustrating as at no point had the solicitor chased up the sale. Thankfully Wendy and I were both on the case. Eventually- as we had expected would happen -the buyer asked to lower the price of the house by £5500 so that we could complete. As Wendy was on holiday at the time someone else negotiated a price of £92000. Wendy was monitoring emails whilst on holiday and keeping in touch with me. As soon as Wendy returned to work things began to move at a faster pace and we completed in December. Into the new year and although we had received the money for the house we had not had a completion statement from the solicitor so I contacted Wendy. She immediately contacted the solicitor and got it sorted for us. At every stage, Wendy copied me into emails she was sending on our behalf to keep us in the loop which was great.I really can’t fault Wendy- she was professional and helpful throughout going above and beyond at times to make sure we got everything completed. Unfortunately we can’t say the same for our solicitors and did recommend to your office that you use someone else as they provide a less than professional service falling short of the code of practice for solicitors in many areas. They really don’t give your company a good service. Thanks Wendy- your were a trooper in what was a very stressful experience.

I have given our experience 5 stars, it’s not for the company but purely for the service Wendy Burbridge provided. The sale was stagnating and I truly believe it still wouldn’t have completed hadn’t it been for the work Wendy did. She drives the sale forward and is always available to answer any queries you have. If I knew Wendy was involved in my sale I wouldn’t hesitate to use Pattinsons in the future, she is a credit to the company.

The team are amazing and very helpful! We had a long process with getting our home due to new safety acts and the solicitors but Wendy Burbridge was amazing with keeping us up to date with what was going on and was checking in with us weekly. I have recently sold a property via Washington Keith Pattinson. Sam Reisner went over and above to assist the sale. Her fast action and ability to communicate with all parties involved; Solicitors, finance, the various departments of Pattinson,buyer ect. culminated in a smooth sale for us.Her staff were also very polite and helpful everything I rang Washington.Sam has a strong knowledge of 3rd parties who are also competent professional people ie finance, solicitors.

Awful company, do not use, my property in auction for 2 months with no bids reduced on their advice they knew I was on a tight schedule to sell, last minute before auction ending a bid comes in but they didn't know how to get hold of the bidders, it was Pattinsons who put the bid in, I did not want to continue any further with them so they are now charging me £12,000 for NOT selling my property.Absolute thieving crooks.

The kind attentive staff at the Bedlington office went out of their way to help us secure a suitable rental property! We were living out of the area, trying to relocate for a newly secured job but missing out on everything we attempted to apply for through other estate agents. Pattinsons staff showed initiative and were creative when troubleshooting problems as they arose relative to our particular situation. Special mention to Simon and Eloise of the Bedlington office, thank you so much for going above and beyond, we were so stressed and overwhelmed and you turned it around in a few days!

I am leaving a review today as I have just received a message from Pattinson in Alnwick asking me to call them about the sale of my home. I arranged a valuation TWO YEARS ago, but decided not to proceed to market. Since then, Pattinson keep calling me! These communications are very unwelcome reminders of a low point in my life, from which I have fully recovered. When are they going to leave me alone? The irony is, I was not impressed with Pattinson, and if I ever decided to sell, I would not consider them. It's only natural that when companies are too pushy, customers start pushing back, so here's one star for you Pattinson in Alnwick.Follow-up: I submitted a "right to be forgotten" request, but Pattinson ignored it.

Not sure where to start with our experience. But will keep this review short. In summary communications and keeping the customer updated is not the Alnwick branch’s strong point. Mini email breaches to me which was obviosuly meant for another customer, emails to be in the wrong customer name (and then apology emails sent with the wrong name again), lack of response with regard to specific questions and concerns. What can I say. I have never had an experience like this in all my house purchases so am sure there are worse out there…. But this experience has not been good at all.
