We have recently used Richard Kendall to sell our house and after a stressful process (not related to the estate agents), we can honestly say Richard Kendall have been brilliant throughout. Liz, our agent, was in regular contact, nothing was ever too much trouble for her and she even got involved in aspects that weren’t strictly hers to get involved with, just to try and help us. We are now buying a house advertised through Richard Kendall and are hopeful that they can be as helpful in the buying process.

Utterly professional..

We have several rental properties now and I employ RK to manage them all as they are utterly professional over the course of both sales and lettings dealing with Matt, Jessica, Amy, Jade and the office manager Carol. I have had some issues with tenants but thankfully they have helped sort them out quickly. I would have no qualms in recommending them!

First people to view a house on Thursday late evening we was told by the vendor that they don’t have viewings until Saturday now. Estate agent got in touch with us Friday afternoon to tell us our offer had been accepted . we managed to get all our details within the same day which was Friday but we work full time so they closed before we managed to get it sent out . we was informed they would be in touch first thing on Saturday morning. However it came to Saturday morning 9am when they open we rang them 10 times before half ten and all they came up with was we can see your email is here but havnt had chance to open it . I believe this was a tactic to stall the offer so they could have more viewing on the Saturday . Absolutely diabolical service . All they care about is there commission and not about shattering peoples dreams . I’m sure if the vendor knew this they wouldn’t be happy what so ever . Just a shame I didn’t get the vendors number .

Richard Kendall where the estate agents acting on the purchase property. (JAM) The individuals involved persistantly tried to jeprodise my Sale which was going through with another Estate Agent, advising my buyer to pull out.. meaning the whole chain would of fell through and their Clients sale would of also fell through as we would of been unable to purchase. Very unprofessional and worrying, would not use.

If you’re thinking of moving into 20 Hollin Drive then don’t because the landlord isn’t a nice person. I’ve lived in many rented property in my life but I’ve never ever had a complaint from any landlord when I’ve vacated the property. I’ve left it clean/tidy if not cleaner, but this landlord thinks it’s acceptable to take a large chunk of our bond to have cleaners in for something that doesn’t need cleaning- it’s a complete insult to me and my family. I do not recommend.

Promised me the world to get me on their books, they said they had people waiting for properties like mine, even in London. Had 4 viewings in 3 months. Terrible communication, I had to contact them all the time, they knew I wanted a quick sale, said no problem with a house like mine as it was quirky, that soon became a negative, as did school holidays, coming up to Christmas, excuse after excuse, would never recommend them to anyone.

We are in a position to buy immediately…

We are in a position to buy immediately even though our property is currentley on the market ( booked with viewings). We called Richard Kendall Estate Agency to enquire about a property and to arrange a viewing. We established with a member of staff that an agent was already at the property to show around another couple. As we live less than 10 minutes from the property we suggested that it would be good use of the agents time for us to view the property after or before the already arranged booking (10mins internal viewing was all we required) as the location gardens etc was already established. Astonishingly, we were advised this was not possible as they only arrange one viewing at a time in half hour slots. Although they only had one booking arranged there was no flexibility to add another.Given our purchasing position and proximity to the property this approach seems a a little short sighted and is definitely not in the the interest of the Seller or the Buyer.One particular member of staff in the office was actually quite dismissive and lacked any kind of common sense.To top things off, despite "saying" the Agency offers flexible viewings during the week, (People do have to work) ...early evening viewings are non-existent and the first chance we could be offered would be the following weekend!Finally I must point out this wasn't a property new onto the market !. And we are a serious buyer in a good position to proceed. This is the vendors loss.Andrew Jones

Where to start... My family and I viewed a house that we wished to buy through this estate agent, we viewed it twice and liked it. We immediately got ourselves a mortgage approval and had an offer (almost the asking price) accepted straight away. We instructed this estate agent to then sell our house.We were responsible for all but one of the many viewings we had, simply because Richard Kendall estate agents "didn't have time or availability" to show people around. This meant time off work and cancelling evening and weekend plans to accommodate.After a few weeks, we received a call to tell us that we have had an offer (which was a reasonable one) but they had since sold the house that we were intended to buy.When I asked Amanda Dyson how this had happened without our knowledge she immediately claimed that they had not withheld this information from us and it was merely a coincidence - a strange response given that I had never suggested this in the first place.It seems that we were expected to "just move somewhere else" by these people.I'll leave the reader to decide whether this was a coincidence or, as Amanda herself suggested - something else a little more sneaky.I was then told that we could put in a higher offer to win back the house - DURING THE SAME CALL I was then (in an obnoxious and arrogant tone of voice) told that we "wouldn't be in a position to proceed" anyway because they didn't know what position the new buyer would be in.Once this call ended we then received an email informing us that nobody was actually buying our house?!We have been very keen in both buying and selling through Amanda & Nikki at Richard Kendall but the way we have been treated through this journey has been shocking.In my experience they are unprofessional, rude and arrogant. Very disappointing.
