GoogleI have just purchased a property that was marketed by Enfields. From start to finish the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. They bent over backwards to make the sale happen and help me in every way possible. I would say they even chased people up on my behalf that were not their responsibility. I could not recommend any higher. Great company. Thank you very much.

GoogleI can't express in words how much of a wonderful job Enfields Pontefract did in helping us secure our first home. The advice was informative and un biased throughout the whole process. I would not think twice in recommending then to friends, family and strangers. From the 1 of the directors Andrew to the apprentice Bradley they really were a credit to to the branch.

GoogleViewed a property with Enfields a few weeks ago. Felt very discriminated as a person by them, taking us by judgement and not asking ongoing further questions to lead us with success with a property we was turned down due to them not giving enough formal details to the landlord! Defiantly will think twice when seeing a property with these again! Shocking!

Discrimination is something we take very seriously at Enfields and in some cases it is restricted through certain legislation. We are also regulated through The Property Ombudsman as well as The Association of Letting Agents and must work to a strict code of conduct. At the time of your interest on the property we had a second party who also demonstrated an interest in letting it. The landlord ultimately makes the decision and that was based on the ‘basic’ information you and the other party provided. Having made my enquiries we are sure that the landlord would have made the same decision even if you would have provided further formal details. We understand your disappointment but the decision by the landlord was based on the other tenants particular circumstance and his decision was not personal. If you feel you were discriminated against you are obviously within your right to make a formal complaint in writing to The Property Ombudsman who would investigate this further. Friendly, helpful, informative, and best of all no pressure selling. It's been a pleasure to deal with them (unlike many of the other estate agents we've recently dealt with). Recommended.

GoogleLook I cannot compare them with other estate agents so I assume there all as bad an obscene amount of money for very little work infact I had to go into there office to give my keys up stats more work than they did I'm never moving again
Hi, Mr Newman, I am really sorry this is how you feel. Myself and the team are really disappointed to read this as we sold your house within 3 weeks of going to market and for a higher price than you originally wanted. On top of that I personally spent 6 months negotiating the sale progression and keeping your buyers happy waiting for you to find. I also contacted caravan parks on your behalf to try and arrange your alternative accommodation. With regards to the keys, because of the way completions work it is not logistically possible for an estate agent to collect from a homeowner, this is standard within the industry. Despite your review, we are happy for you and your buyer that we managed to keep the sale together and help everyone move. The past year has been challenging to say the least but we will continue to try our very best to provide everybody with the best service possible. Regards Joanne

GoogleEnquired about properties for both rental and sale. Sent email enquiries and never had a response. Phoned the office and they were very short as though I was keeping them from something. Would not recommend especially if you are trying to sell or rent your property.

We have used Enfield's for the selling and purchasing for my elderly mother and also for the recent sale of our own property. I cant rate them enough, Chris and Jamie are just so easy to get along with and they kept us updated at all times. They are both genuine and very professional and really passionate about what they do and we have built up very good relationships with them. They have made the whole process as stress free as possible and any future house purchases I will only use them from now on.
