Buyers be aware

We viewed a house with John in Winnersh. He came to the viewing completely unprepared. He took an advantage on we really liked the house. He was lying about the tenure of the property. He tried to sell us leasehold house as a freehold. I would not recommend to anyone to work with such an unreliable (and unprofessional) estate agent.

Can't recommend Grapevine Estate Agents enough! The team were very friendly and professional throughout the process. Oliver was extremely helpful during the viewing stage and accommodating when we wanted to view the property multiple times in one day! He kept us updated throughout each step in the process after we offered which was very reassuring during what can be a stressful time. I'm not normally one for google reviews and certainly have never been a fan of Estate Agents. That being said the guys at Grapevine, in particular Adam and Oliver, were just on another level. They are professional, responsive, engaging, reassuring and knowledgeable. All estate agents are good at selling, or at least should be, and Grapevine were no different. They know everything about the area and you can tell they had done their research on the street and property as well, it felt like they actually owned the house as opposed to having just turned up to show us around. In the post sale, which is always the most difficult, they really shone. They managed expectations well and were just so responsive, constantly keeping us updated and checking in with how things were going. Adam in particular was excellent at just keeping it honest and telling me when something hadn't gone right and explaining why. The Grapevine Team were amazing from start to finish. After trying to sell with a well known, international (and expensive!) brand estate agent who gave us very bad service, were unresponsive and really didn't show any need to sell our home we decided to use a local agency. It was the best decision we made. The service we received was above and beyond. We were trying to sell in a tricky market (global pandemic) but Adam, Ollie and Hollie never gave up and secured us a buyer relatively quickly. Truly first rate experience in every way, from start to finish, reminding why it’s worth paying a little extra to get a proper, professional estate agent who sells your house and supports to see it through fully to completion, as opposed to the so-called ‘online estate agents’.
