GoogleWe can't rate the KMJ team highly enough. They have been fantastic from start to finish. Katrina and Marc took time to get to know us and our home and could talk to prospective buyers with real knowledge of the house and area. The communication throughout was impeccable all the way from valuation to having an offer accepted when we were then passed on to Suzanne and the sales progression team. Suzanne made us feel like everything was under control! She was on top of communication with the solicitors, the buyer and surveyors and would follow things up before we would even think to chase anything.
The thing we loved most about KMJ though was how, even though they have lots of houses to sell, it always felt like a personal experience and that they genuinely cared about the sale of our house.

It hasn't been without problems with chains breaking down etc , but this problem highlighted how efficient they are in all dealings with seller and purchaser .
Our viewings were conducted by Daf who was so professional as were all staff at Smiths,
Janine took over then as she handles it all ,once it was sold subject to contract , She has kept us in the loop all along . I cannot stress enough how thorough she is and has kept me sane through it all .
I would recommend Smiths to anyone who is looking for an agent to sell their home. . They are not the cheapest but definitely the best and you certainly get what you pay for !

GoogleDeciding upon Smiths was clearly the right move for us. We'd had been seriously underwhelmed by our previous agents, and both Tom and Janine raised the game to a different level with Smiths. Tom, took the time and patience to get to know the house and the location, this was impressive. That level of detail is is needed for any property to be properly packaged to a viewer as to the real benefits of potentially living there. The onboarding process was simple and straight forward and each time a viewer requested a viewing we were kept informed as to time and dates and then feedback was provided within a few hours of the visit. When viewings dropped off after the initial few weeks with no offers an adult conversation was had about our price expectations and we agreed to drop to a new price level that Tom felt would get the viewers in again. He was right. Three weeks later and we were receiving multiple offers. That's when Janine's skillset kicked in. Dubbed my "Hero Angel" ; this lady chased this process through for the seemingly endless months it took to get it across the line with many issues, delays and much frustration. Honestly had Janine not been pushing along the whole line of 6 buyers in the chain I think we would still be there now. Ultimately its the Solicitors that control the final flow and I learned a lot from this process myself ,but without her constant chase and update nothing would have moved. No problems recommending the team at Smiths. They made it happen for us. Thank you both.

Initially KMJ gave us a free probate valuation for my late father's house and even at that early stage we were given excellent advice about sales options and next steps so when the house was ready to sell we had no hesitation in engaging with KMJ to act on our behalf. We had a very difficult experience with the first offer we accepted which was all down to the buyer but KMJ were professional and communicative throughout and worked tirelessly on trying to progress the sale. When it eventually fell through, KMJ were great at getting the house back on the market and we ended up receiving an asking price offer second time around that KMJ managed expertly through to completion. I couldn't speak highly enough of how all the staff looked after us during a very difficult and emotionally stressful time.

GoogleI approached KMJ immediately when i decided to sell my property as they were very local to me and i’d heard positive things in the past, they’re a well respected estate agent within my village and have a reputation of having a good knowledge of the area, something i thought was important in respect of the property i was selling relative to its location.
I can honestly say that my experience with them was first class. From Marks first valuation visit which i felt was honest and realistic , to the expedient listing and admin to get it market , securing an offer within 7 days they absolutely outperformed my expectations.
The conveyancing process to my mind took an age, and i felt particularly anxious throughout, but KMJ in this area particularly excelled, Suzanne in sales progression was absolutely fantastic, she was quick to assist with any enquiries, often responding within minutes, tirelessly chased the chain, and i never felt for one minute that she wasn’t on top of the whole process. I cannot thank KMJ and all of their team involved enough for making a process which was particularly stressful for me a considerably easier one knowing that they had everything in hand. I would not hesitate to recommend KMJ to anyone and would most certainly use them again should the time arise. Thank you KMJ.
